I sat at the dinning room table still refusing to go to the police station I felt like I have spent way to much time there and it was making me go insane and I would not stand for it. "Alex I understand this I tough but you have been requested by the sherif to come along with everyone else" he said sighing. "No I'm sorry but I won't go" I said crossing my shaky arms over my chest.

"Well then I'm going to half to cal for a police officer to come and watch over you while I take everyone else" he said sternly. "Fine" was all I replied looking at him dead In the eyes. "I'm not going either" Steven said. He nodded before speaking into the walkie talkie for more police officers. "He will be here in about 5 minutes just sit tight" he said before getting up and leaving the room.

As he said another police officer showed up about 5 minutes later and everyone piled into the car speeding away. "Hi I'm officer Cleveland" he said. "Uh hi I'm Alex and this is Steven" I said pointing to Steven. He nodded and I grabbed Stevens arm pulling him upstairs.

It was weird being in Layla's house without Layla but we were requested not to leave until everyone came back so I guess I could follow that much. I looked over at the stack of papers on Layla's desk from school. None of us have gone for such a long time with all that's happening so they sent us our homework but all of us have failed to do so. "I don't trust him" Steven whispered. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What do you mean?" I whispered back. "I don't know something about him seems really familiar" Steven answered shrugging. "Oh my god Alex, he was the driver from the hay ride" Steven whispered and I saw his hands start to shake. "We half to get out of here right now" I said and grabbed Steven arms pulling him over to the window. "Uhg it won't budge" I said sighing.

"Why are You trying to open the window?" I heard a voice ask from behind me. "Oh officer um it was just really stuffy in here and I needed some air" I said hoping he believed me. "Well let me help you with that" he said smiling before walking over and opening the window with ease. "Thanks" I said timidly. He nodded before looking at Steven then back at me and slowly walking out of the room and down the stairs. "Look for something to cut the window net with" I whispered and Steven shoved his hand in his pocket pulling out a pocket knife. He started to cut open the net and I peered down.

"It's not much of a jump" I said he nodded and I took a deep breath before sliding out lf the window landing awkwardly into the grass. "Ok come down" I whispered. And soon he fell down to. "Let's go now!" He said and I followed him as we ran down the street to the police station the place I most defiantly didn't want to go this morning.

We were panting heavily as we ran twisting corners trying to make it to the police station in time. "I hear sirens" Steven said before grabbing my arm and pulling me into the bushes. We held our breath as officer Cleveland sped past the bush and turning a corner. "He was looking for us" I whispered. "I know come on we need to make it to the station" he said I nodded grabbing his arm as he pulled down the street. "Ok coast is clear let go" he said and we started to sprint across the street only minutes away from the station.

"Where do you think your going?" I heard a raspy voice say. "Run!" I shouted grabbing Stevens arm and darting to the station at full speed faster that I have ever ran before. "He's close" I heard Steven say I nodded but continued to run hoping he wouldn't catch us.

It was to late

We weren't fast enough

He was to fast

The station was to far away

We were going to die

Layla was going to die

And it was all James fault

And so here I was being dragged away with Steven to our deaths and no one would ever save us.
