Chapter 4

We all started screaming and ran at the fastest speed we could running and running to the festival. I was screaming tears streaming down my face I couldn't believe what I had just saw. "This way!" I heard Layla yell and we all turned following her threw the woods.

I could hear the laughter of children music the rides and excited screaming I knew we were close. I gasped for air when we got out of the woods, I looked at Tess and Layla they were crying as well as I. "Oh my god!, Steven was still saying gasping for air his face was as white as a sheet. James stood there silent looking at the ground pacing back in forth. "We half to tell someone! We half too!" I yelled and I started to run home. "Hey sweetie" my mom said as I came home. "Honey I half to tell you something!" She said excitedly. "What?" I asked I was still shaken up she didn't seem to notice. "Honey, we're having another kid! A baby girl" she cheered a smile instantly grew on my face I couldn't believe it. I hugged my mom than ran upstairs to clean up then i remembered.

Oh my god I half to tell her! This is serious. I was about to run downstairs again when I found a note on my door. I ripped it off

If you tell her

Or anyone

She dies

And the baby does too

A sob escaped my throat oh my god.

I grabbed my phone and called Tess.

I heard her on the other line she sniffled

"Hello?" She asked

"Hey it's Alexa" I said quietly

"Did you get a..." Her voice trailed off

"A note Yeah" I said a tear dripped down my face.

"What do we do? We half to tell someone there's a body! A dead body Alex!" She sobbed into the phone

"I don't know but I'm not letting anyone else die" I said and then we hung up.
