I sat frozen stiff in the very back seat of the van. Layla and Steven shared the same scared expression as me. The sherif was in the row of seats right in front of us there was only 4'rows in the bus. "Sherif" I whispered making sure that the driver didn't hear. "What?" He asked worriedly as he examined our faces.

"The driver he was one of the ones who tortured us when James kidnapped us" Layla joined in. The sherif looked at us with great worry before walking up to the front of the van-bus I don't know what to call it. we kept driving until we got to the station.

We all shuffled out of the car and the sherif pulled out a pair of handcuffs and snapped them onto his wrists, "wait what!" The officer shrieked struggling to break free. More officers piled out of the station and brought him into it locking him into a cell in the basement. I stood frozen in the sherifs office Layla was sitting in a chair looking out the window into the now raining outside and Steven sat in his wheel chair gripping his stomach in pain.

"We'll be ok" Steven assured me I was more worried about him, "we need a doctor to watch over you" I ordered. He nodded and I ran out of the room to the nearest police officer. "You should stay in there it's the safest place" he said frowning. "My friend Steven he needs a doctor" I said pointing to Steven who squirmed in his wheel chair groaning in pain. He nodded and rushed into a different room.

"The doctors will come here and take him to a room much like the hospital one don't worry he will be fine" he assured me and I nodded making my way back to the room.

Once the doctors came they pushed Steven into the 'special room' which actually did look much like his hospital room. They laid him on the bed and connected him to different machines and left once he was settled in.

Layla and I sat done in the chairs next to his bed and waited ,waited for more to come.
