Oh my. Endless beatings 14 crackers 8 pieces of moldy bread and 10 water bottles later I heard the noises. I had lost a considerable amount of weight and the lack of food was barely affecting me anymore I savored the, evened them out and got the same amount of food everyday thanks to my self planning out the extremely small rations.
I heard the loud buzzing sound coming from outside the loud sound of footsteps and I couldn't tell if I was imagining them or if they were really there.
Regardless it was driving me insane that is if I wasn't already, was I?. The door opened a few minutes later and I was expecting my next beating but it was to my surprise when I saw a man in black armor holding a military issues gun and the words printed F.B.I on the front. I was being rescued.
He unlocked me from the chain and I rubbed my wrists and he helped me up handing me a blanket. "Your safe now" he whispered. I nodded and he guided me through the house outside where there stood a helicopter. That was buzzing noise. "There gone no sign of them!" I heard one yell in frustration. Of course h got away why wouldn't he.
I saw Layla sitting on the ground drinking a jug of water. Layla! Water! I ran over to her and wrapped my arms around her extremely slim waist we cried into each others arms not daring to speak but to comfort each other . "Here have some" she said gesturing to another large jug of water that was sitting beside her I grabbed it and within a matter of seconds the whole thing was gone it didn't even feel like a lot and I was still dying of thirst.
I saw Steven coming towards us and my heart leaped at the sight of him. He didn't look nearly as skinny he was till muscular his cuts and bruises made him look amazing and I couldn't help but stare. "Alex! Layla!" He yelled and ran towards us faster than he was before.
We all hugged each other tightly and Layla and I cried into his arms. We talked about what happened we told the police and F.B.I and they assured us that we would half to talk about it again. I was thankful for that it was to painful.
"Two months" I said shaking my head. We had been in that house for two whole months. "I know it felt like years" Steven said holding his head in his hands. "It was dreadful" Layla spoke up and I could see her bottom lip start to tremble just from talking about it. "It's over, they said we could live normally but we would still be on watch since James never got caught but they got some of his goons" Steven said. I couldn't believe we would go back to school. I could see my family!

Six hours later and we were back in our home town. I got new clothes and they took my blood stained ones for evidence. I ran through my front door and ran into my mother arms who was extremely pregnant. She cried so hard harder than I have ever seen her cry before. My dad joined the hug and he cried as well and I have never seen him cry so of course this made me cry.
My brother ran into my arms his body was shaking with sobs once he saw me. It was weird talking with all of them again it felt so foreign mostly because I though I would never get the chance.
I finally got to see my family
