(A/N - I'm sorry, this is my worst writing ever. I thought I had this chapter totally planned but it turned out like utter shit. Its really shaky because I wrote it at three different points across two days. I'm really sorry, again. I'll try to make the next chapter better. Votes & Comments are appriciated, thanks. -S)
“WHAT? You better not actually be meeting with him, Maia,” Cierra said forcefully, angry her best friend was making such a poor decision.
“I can do what I want, Cierra. It’s just a dinner to try to rekindle a relationship,” she tried to explain, but failed.
“If you have to keep it a secret from David, then clearly, it’s not just a dinner.” Cierra huffed. She fell back into her couch and brought her legs up to her chest.
“I just don’t want him to over react. Plus, he’s at the cast party tonight. He’ll never know. If it all works out than I’ll tell David, okay?” Maia asked, annoyed. Why couldn’t she make her own decisions?
“Fine, but I’m warning you, something really bad is going to happen because of this.”
“Whatever you say; I’m going to go home and freshen up. See you,” Maia dismissed herself rudely. She couldn’t believe Cierra was being so rude about this.
As soon as Maia left Cierra’s place, she called David. She dialed in his number to her sparkling new iPhone 6 and hit call. She waited a few moments as it rang before he finally picked up.
“Hello?” David said into the phone. He sounded like he’s already had a few beers. Great, Cierra thought.
“Listen, I have to tell you something but you can’t tell Maia that I told you.” Cierra bit her lip.
“What is it?” David said more attentively. He started to worry about Maia.
“Well…Ramy called Maia. He said he wanted to meet up and be friends with Maia again,” she began.
“Don’t tell me she agreed…” he said.
“She did. She told him not to tell you that they’re meeting, so I’m not sure what’s going on there. She just left my place to go freshen up before meeting him at the diner near set. You should probably go and see what’s up with them,” she suggested.
“I will. Thanks for letting me know,” he said before hanging up abruptly. The phone beeped into Cierra’s ear notifying her that the call ended.

Maia quickly returned to her house after her argument with Cierra. She ran up to her room to pick out something to where. She shifted through her closet and landed on a low-cut black top. She decided to pair this with a pair of black silk shorts. She went to her vanity and sat down in her seat, applying makeup. She heard her phone buzzing from the pocket of her jeans she was wearing earlier and grabbed it. It was David calling.
“Hey, Babe,” she said into the phone. “I miss you.”
“I miss you too. Are you still at Cierra’s? I was thinking about stopping by soon, I’m getting tired of this party,” he explained. He was trying to see if Maia would tell him before he went to the diner and made a scene.
