Twisted Snakes and Ladders

                Maia was stunned by David’s confession. She knew that he loved her but it still was shocking to hear him officially tell her. She took an inch away from his face, shaking lightly. She took a step forward; closing the gap between them. She laid her head on his chest and wrapped her arms tightly around his body once more. Maia was about to speak before David cut her off.

                “You don’t have to say it back, Maia. I know how you feel about me, I can tell by the way you look at me that you feel the same,” he told her. He kissed her forehead lightly before wrapping his arms around her body. He felt her smile against him before they heard Ramy cough from his seat. Maia and David both turned their heads towards him.

                “Oh, uh, sorry. If you don’t mind I’m just going to leave with David now. Sorry he hit you, I’ll text you,” Maia rushed before grabbing David’s hand and walking out of the restaurant. “Where should we go?” She asked.

                “We could go back to my place and watch a movie, if you want,” he suggested.

                “Yeah, that sounds good.” Maia smiled brightly. “Should I just follow you to your place? My cars here, so,” she explained, squeezing his hand. 

                “Sounds good, I’ll see you soon,” he said before kissing her lightly. Their lips rested against each other’s until Maia finally pulled away.

David must’ve gotten ahead of her sometime on the drive because once she got to his house; his car was already in the driveway. She parked her car behind his and got out, walking to the door. She knocked lightly before twisting the door knob and walking inside. She had never been to his house before so this was all new. The first thing she saw was the beautiful chandelier dangling from the ceiling. She turned left and walked into a huge room with a rather large TV and what looked to be a very comfy couch. She placed her purse on the floor and jumped on the couch; covering herself with a blanket. She giggled and continued to look around the room with her eyes. There were photos all over his walls of his friends and family. She noticed one lying on the table and stood up to see it more closely. It was a photo of her and David on their first date. I totally forgot we took this, Maia thought silently to herself. She put it down as she heard footsteps. She looked over and saw David, shirtless. Her jaw dropped as she took in his muscular build.

                “Like what you see?” David smirked. He walked over to Maia and picked her up bridal style, lying her down on the couch.

                “Of course I do,” she giggled, pulling his head down to hers. She crashed her lips against his while wrapping her legs around his waist. David put his hands on either side of Maia to hold himself up. He licked her bottom lip in hope she would part them. She complied, parting her lips to let David deepen the kiss. She let her hands roam around his body; from his hair down to his lower back. David lightly ground himself into Maia; causing her to moan into his mouth.

                “Maia, I’m trying to not rip all your clothes off, but when you make sounds like that it makes it hard for me to withhold from that temptation,” he growled, kissing down her jawline to her neck. He sucked and nibbled at her neck until he found her sweet spot; right below her ear.  Maia let out another involuntary moan, silently cursing herself remembering what David said just moments ago. She could feel his hardness press against her leg as she slowly began to rub herself against him. “Let’s take this upstairs,” David whispered seductively into Maia’s ear. She nodded lightly and he picked her up again, rushing to his bedroom. He let her down and immediately pushed her against the wall, letting his arms wrap around her fragile body. He kissed her roughly while he began to paw at the hem of her shirt. Maia pulled away unexpectedly, putting a hand on his chest.
