Part 20

Ted really enjoyed this movie. He mainly enjoyed the fact that he got to hold Henry while watching a romantic movie. The movie ended too soon.
"Get a room!" Emma threw a pillow at Ted and Henry, that narrowly missed Henry's head.
"Yeah cut the canoodling!" Paul and Emma started laughing hysterically. Isn't this what Paul wanted?
"You're one to talk!" Ted was happy for Paul and Emma but they can take it down a notch.
"You want to go?" Emma tried to make herself look bigger. She's to short for this.
Ted didn't really want to leave that moment but Emma is asking for it. Ted grabbed the pillow Emma threw at Henry. ITS TIME FOR WAR!
"You two are five years old." Henry sounded a little annoyed. Ted didn't want to upset him buuut pillow fight.
"I have to defend your honor!" Ted wasn't about to let Emma throw a pillow at Henry and get away with it.
"I do not need you to defend my honor, Theodore." Oh he fucking used the Theodore. Henry wants to fight! Oh shit.
"Is that so." Make him flustered. That's his weakness. He will win this god damn mother fucking fight.
God they were really close to each other. Ted wanted to kiss Henry but that felt like that breaks the rules of war.
"You guys are adorable." Fucking paul. Ruining the moment.
"Fuck off paul." Ted didn't break eye contact with Henry. Well if Ted kissed him Henry would probably get flustered and Ted would win. Right?
"Go make out somewhere else. I need to make a romantic birthday dinner for my boyfriend." Emma threw another god damn pillow at Ted and Henry. Bitch.
"What you're kicking us out already!" Henry turned away. THAT MEANS TED WON! Ha!
"Yes I'm kicking you out already!" Emma picked up some pillows.
Ted didn't want to go home already!
"Happy birthday paul." Henry patted paul's shoulder and went to pick up his things. Maybe Ted could hang out with Henry.
Ted hugged Paul.
"Thanks for the mug." Paul didn't hate his gift. That's good.
"Happy birthday man."
Suddenly Emma was pushing Ted and Henry Out of the apartment.
Ted and Henry stood on the sidewalk in front of the building. Ted didn't know if they were going to go their separate ways.
"So uh" Ted tried to think of something to say.
Henry pulled Ted into a kiss. Never mind Henry won. God his lips are so soft.
"I wanted to do that the whole movie." Henry said with a certain base in his voice that Ted wasn't used to. Something was off.
"Follow me."
"Where are we going?" Ted was going to follow him no matter what he said.
"My apartment." Wow, that's pretty forward for Henry. Ted wasn't complaining. It's just-
"Why?" Ted just wanted to see what Henry would say.
"Because were in public." Henry said very matter-of-factly. So Ted was right about what Henry was thinking.
"Oh." Ted wasn't not into it, it just felt like something was off. It didn't feel like his Henry. Not that Henry is his in any sense of the word. Ted didn't know.
Henry pulled Ted  by the hand to a nice looking apartment building. They got to an apartment that Ted assumed was Henry's based on how forcefully he opened the door.
It's a nice apartment. Very open. Henry has a good sense in room layout.
"This is a nice apar-"
Henry pulled Ted into a very passionate kiss. Teds knees went weak. His heart skipped beats like it was waltzing to a song in 4/4 time. How can someone like Henry be interested in Ted.
"Are you drunk?" Last time Henry was this into Ted he was drunk and started crying.
"No" Henry wrapped his arms around ted's waist pulling him in closer. Oh god Henry Hidgens.
"Are you ok?" Henry didn't seem drunk but there was definitely something off. Ted really hoped he was right.
"Are you?" Henry stared Ted deeply in the eyes. God he's so handsome.
"I feel like something is wrong." Ted just really wanted to make sure he was ok. Henry stormed off into the couch.
Did Ted make him mad? Fuck. Uhh how does Ted make it up to him. Shit. God he's just so perfect. Christ. The tune to sibella played over in Ted's brain.
Here goes nothing.
"Oh, there's that voice with the promise of sin
And oh, those lips are the promise of bliss
And I know that your embrace

There's danger in your kiss." Henry seemed unresponsive. Ted was to far into the song to stop now.
"This is the face of a man
A guy could easily worship for all of his days
But a man could as easily lose his sanity
Deciphering your gaze." Ted got closer to Henry. Changing the lyrics a little to apply to the situation isn't a crime.
Ted walked in front of Henry and knelt down so he was closer to eye level.
"Henry, what's going on?" Ted just wanted Henry to happy.
"I don't know." Henry sounded a bit sad. How can someone so perfect be so sad? That's not right.
"How are you?" Ted wanted to be there for Henry.
"Not great," This pulled at Henry's heart strings.
"Do you know why?" That was shitty question dumbass.
"No."
""Do you want to be alone." Ted didn't want to leave Henry but if he asked him to leave what choice does he have?
"No." Good.
Ted moved himself to the couch. Henry laid down in his lap. Ted didn't know what to do. He couldn't stand the sight of Henry sad.

Henry sat up after a few minutes.
"Are you feeling better?" Ted put his hand on Henry's shoulder. He looked like he was doing better.
"Yes."
Ted was relieved.
"Good." Ted smiled at Henry. Henry should eat something. Ted stood up.
"Don't leave please." Henry sounded weak.
"I won't," Ted got out his phone to order some food for Henry, "I'm going to order some food. You should eat." Ted sat back down so Henry would feel better.
Ted looked at the time. Rosie's going to be off soon. She lives around here.
"Did you know that Northside delivers?" Ted wanted to cheer up Henry. He seemed to really like those burgers
"They do?" Henry sounded confused.
"They don't actually but Rosie's shift is ending soon and I'm going to have her bring it to us." Ted laughed hoping Henry would at least chuckle. He didn't.
Henry hugged Ted tightly.
"Thank you." Henry felt so fragile. In that moment Ted thought that there was nothing that he would not do for Henry.
