Ted didn't know what to do. They're fucked. They're straight fucked. What could they do? Fuck. God.
Henry was sobbing. It hurt to watch him like that. Ted avoided thinking about what could happen to him. Ted just wanted Henry to be happy.
Ted wrapped his arms around Henry. He felt selfish because Henry would probably not want to be touched right now. Ted just needed to hold him right now. Henry's breathing was unsteady and fast.
Henry didn't hug back. He just went limp in Ted's arms. Seeing Henry like this was destroying Ted. Ted was fighting back tears. Knowing that Henry was so hopeless. How could Henry be helpless? He's like Ted's soul inspiration and he's giving up. It's almost unbelievable.
"Breath Henry. Breath." Ted couldn't handle this. He didn't know how to comfort him. Ted could feel Henry trying to catch his breath.
Henry shouldn't have been the one to call them. It shouldn't have been him. Ted should have taken his place. Henry shouldn't have had to hear whatever they said first hand. Ted should have taken his place. God.
"We have to leave." Paul's voice was urgent. Ted had forgotten they were in public. They were definitely drawing attention to themselves. Ted didn't think Henry had the strength to go anywhere.
Henry tried to stand himself up. Ted could tell that Henry didn't have the strength. Ted helped him up. He looked Henry in the eyes. They were bloodshot and still tearing up. Oh god.
Henry caressed Ted's cheek. Ted fought back tears. Tears spilled down Henry's face. Oh Henry. Ted just wanted to protect him. He didn't deserve this.
They all rushed on to the next train back to Emma and paul's place. They all avoided other people. Ted couldn't look Henry in the eye or he would start crying. He made sure to stay close to Henry though. He can't feel alone right now.
The train took way longer that it usually does. Ted wanted to get to a place where he could let himself cry. He shouldn't cry in front of Henry.

They walked into the apartment, it was to bright. Way to bright. Emma dropped to the floor the moment they stepped into the apartment. Paul joined Emma on the floor. Henry walked over to the couch and collapsed into the fetal position. Henry looked so broken. Ted felt responsible for this for some reason.
Ted sat down next to Henry. He moved into Ted's lap. Ted instinctively rubbed Henry's arm. Ted lives holding Henry, just not when henry was with hopeless. He loved Henry so much.
"I'm sorry Theodore." Henry's voice cracked. Henry sounded so terrified. Ted just wanted Henry to be happy. He didn't want to be live in a world where someone like Henry could be this sad.
"Don't be. It's not your fault." Ted tried to sound comforting. He couldn't keep it together though. Henry wrapped his arms around Ted stomach. He loved Henry so much. God.
"I can't save you." Henry's tears were sleeping through Ted's shirt. Ted didn't deserve Henry. Why did Henry think that he had to protect Ted? That's stupid. Henry didn't need to protect anyone except himself.
"It's ok Henry." Ted wanted Henry to take care of himself.
"No it's not. We're all going to die and I can't do anything." Henry's voice got louder. It broke Ted how much Henry had gives up.
"We're not going to die." Ted didn't fully believe it but he needed Henry to believe it. He was so in love with Henry. He can't think about him dying.
"Theo-" Henry was about to say something but Ted didn't want to argue about this. It's to painful. Ridiculously painful.
So Ted kissed him. It wasn't like the other kisses though. It just was painful. He loved him so much. God.
"I'm not saying we're going to get out of this without taking a few hits. But we can stop this Henry. I know we can." Ted finally got himself together. His voice got steady. He wanted to comfort Henry.
"Ok." Henry nodded and sat up. He took a deep breath.  He looked like he was calming down.
"What do we do?" Paul asked from the other side of the room. Ted completely forgot paul and Emma  were there.
Right ideas. Henry's not in any place to come up with ideas. So Ted has to come up with something.
"We can try to kill them off from where they land here in clivesdale. Does that make sense?" They'll probably take a boat over. It'd be easier to pick them off if there all in one place.
"How will the four of us kill all of them?" Emma was still on the floor. She sounded really quiet. That's a really good point though. It's not like they're in the best at fighting anyways.
"We can alert the authorities." Paul suggested. Ted wasn't one for getting law enforcement involved.
"PEIP used to be the authorities. They aren't the most reliable sources of help." Henry was still sitting on the couch. He sounded sounded scared. He had a really good point. They can't really trust anyone.
"The police would think we're insane." Emma chuckled a little bit. It wasn't really a happy chuckle more a coping with humor joke.
"They don't know what hap-" Henry's voice trailed off. He was thinking something. There was a certain gleam in his eyes. He has an idea. Oh he has an idea. Oh what a brilliant beautiful man.
"What are you thinking?" Ted loved Henry's mind.
"If we came out with the story of what happened people would at least be aware the infected exist. We could get other people to fight. Does that make sense? It's a stupid idea and we probably don't have the time but-" Henry looked lost in thought. That makes sense though. What's PEIP going to do about it? He oh god that's terrifying.
"The news stations have been desperate for the story of what happened. If we tell them they'd run it even if they didn't believe it." Emma stood up hopefully.
"We can go down to the station tomorrow." Paul nodded, "I think this will work." Paul smiled hopefully.
Oh god there's hope! There's hope! They can do this!
"Ok." Ted was hopeful. They can do this. Ted knew that Henry didn't share his optimism. It's fine he'll come around to it.
"You guys can stay here the night if you want." Emma's voice was calm. Ted wasn't going to leave Henry's side. He just wanted to be with him right now.
Paul got our leftover food for there dinner. They didn't really feel like getting take out. The food was not good. At least Henry was eating.
Emma set up the bed couch thing after they finished the shitty dinner. Paul cleaned up. Then Emma and paul left Ted and Henry out in the living room.
Ted sat down in the bed. He was glad that Henry didn't have to be alone right now. Ted did not want to leave Henry ever.
Henry sat down next to Ted. Ted really didn't deserve Henry.
"I love you Theodore." Henry smiled sadly at Ted. He looked like he had tears in his eyes. Ted's heart hurt.
"I love you too." Ted pulled Henry into a hug. He didn't let go of Henry for the rest of the night.
He's not going to let the world end with someone as amazing as Henry still on it.
