He didn't say that right. Like not that there really is a problem with that but like. Holy shit. Henry really liked Theodore but... like he's not ready. Well not ready, more ill prepared. Henry realized he wasn't breathing.
"I- I" Ted stuttered. He looked as caught off guard as Henry was. Perhaps it was a Freudian slip. Yeah that's it... no probably not.
Ted continued to stutter unintelligibly. Oh Theodore. Henry felt lost. What does he do? Keep breathing.
"Do you mean it?" Why did Henry ask that? holy shit! He's just creating pandemonium! Ahhhhhhhh!
Ted was silent for a second. He opened his mouth like he was about to say something but he just sat there. Finally he nodded.
Holy shit. What's he supposed to do now. Oh god. Henry kept having to remind himself to breath.
"I'm sorry." Ted finally managed. He was talking so softly the words barely came out. He looked scared almost. Henry didn't want him to be sacred.
"Don't be." Henry sat there next to him, on the floor. Henry wanted to hug Theodore but he feared that that might not be good for him right now. Oh god.
Ted nodded again. He looked so timid.
"What a day." Ted kind of muttered. Henry chuckled a little bit.
Ted's so sweet and passionate. Also hot but don't think about that right now. Henry didn't not love him.
"So," Henry wanted desperately to get out of the tension. Ahhhhh Henry cares about Theodore to much to let this carry on. Ted looked sad but he can't just like lie and he can't let him continue to feel bad. "Are you ok?"
"No." Ted didn't make eye contact. God this sucks. Theodore.
"Theodore..." Henry reached out and touched his shoulder.
"You don't have to, Henry. I understand." Ted looked so sad. Henry could live with himself knowing he made Ted sad.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be." Ted still didn't make eye contact. God please look him in the eye. "I think I'm going to go." Ted stood up. He walked towards the door.
"Wait." Henry got up after him.
Henry got a glimpse of Ted's eyes. They were red and watery.
He made Theodore cry. Henry was at a loss. Nothing else mattered. Everything else in the world stopped and all that Henry could see was the pain he had caused. Henry's heart hurt.
"What" Ted's voice was raspy.
"I'm not going to let you be alone right now." Henry didn't know what else to do. It works for him maybe it'd work for Ted.
"Hen-"
"No I don't care. I care about you too much to let you leave sad." Henry cut him off.
"You're pulling a me." Ted chuckled sadly. "Don't let the sad person be alone."
Henry didn't really know what to do in this situation. What would Chad do. He would say something sweet and then he would make some food. But Henry can't do that.
"I really care about you and I just can't stand to see you this way. Ted I really really like you. And I know this sucks. I'm not good at  romance and I don't know what to do in this situation." Ted still looked sad. "You make me happy Theodore. Every second with you I can feel myself falling in love but I'm just... I'm just not there yet." Henry had to be making it worse. "You can leave if you want, it'd be selfish to force you to stay. This can't be the last time I see you."
Ted made direct I contact. His eyes were still red. Henry's heart truly ached.
"I love you, Henry. But I need some time alone right now." And he was gone.
Henry felt like he could break down crying. He wanted to chase after Theodore but he knew that would be a bad idea.
Rosie was here only 30 minutes ago. They were just on the floor kissing. And now Henry had made Ted cry. And he was alone.
He didn't have a valid reason to cry. Theodore was the one with a reason to cry. Crying would be selfish of Henry. But what else is there to do.

"Henry I have no idea why you can listen to this show it's super racist." Leighton commented from the couch.
"The King and I is a beautiful story and the music is phenomenal! Sure it's not aging great but that is besides the point!" If Henry has a dime for every time he had to defend musicals he could afford to live on his own.
"The musics great but I'm team Leighton on this one. Sorry dude." Steve slumped down on the couch next to Leighton. Only 3 and beer already in hand.
The phone rang from in the kitchen.
"I got it." Leighton hoisted himself off the couch and over to the phone.
Henry watched Leighton on the phone he couldn't quite make out what he was saying. His face went grim. Something's wrong. Leighton hung up.
"Get your shit we got to go." Leighton threw the car keys at Henry. Henry caught them and stood up.
"What's wrong?" Steve set down his beer.
"There's been a crash." Leighton was scrambling around the room to get his things.
"What?" A crash? Like a car crash?
"Greg, Stu, mark and Chad are in the hospital!" Leighton was clearly freaking out now.
Without another word the three young men were out the door and on their way to the hospital.
Please let them be ok.
