Camila's POV:
Lauren let go of my hand to open her dorm room's door. My heart was pouding a million miles per hour when I nervously took a step inside and heard the door's lock click shortly after.
"Are you drunk?" I asked the green eyed girl, whose birthday had technically ended a couple of minutes ago.
"Do I look drunk?" She answered smugly and took a few steps closer to me.
"No, but..." I started saying before she slipped both hands under my top and pulled my body closer to hers.
"Shhh..." Lauren interrupted me seductively and stopped her lips less than an inch away from mine. She kept one hand on my lower back and placed the other one lovingly on my cheek. Her eyes were set intently on my own and her mouth curved into a soft smile before she licked her lips and finally closed the gap between us.
On our way to her dorm room, Lauren told me all about Luis. Once again, he had cheated on her, and this time he didn't even care it was Lauren's birthday. But instead of looking sad, she seemed somehow relieved, and as soon as she had the perfect excuse, she decided to kiss me again and bring me to her dorm room. I'd be lying if I said there was another place in the world I would've rather been. I had dreamed about experiencing a moment like that for a long time, and even though I knew what I was doing was wrong, I couldn't decline Lauren's offer.
The green eyed girl didn't take too long to deepen our kiss. She placed both hands on the back of my neck, keeping our lips connected at all times, and pushed me gently against the wall. Her eager tongue explored my mouth daringly while she lowered her hands to the sides of my chest. I felt her knee pressing softly between mine, allowing her to disappear the little space between our bodies. I kissed her back just as passionately, roaming the brunette's body fervidly with both hands. Of all of our previous encounter, this had definitely been the most heated one so far, and it excited me to think what we were about to finally do. Lauren pleasurably sucked on my bottom lip and bit it playfully, until she was forced to pull apart gasping for air.
"Wow..." I mumbled trying to oxygenate my brain after several minutes without breathing properly. Lauren looked at me biting her lip and lowered her gaze to my body shamelessly. Her hands reached for the rim of my top, but I stopped her before she could remove the piece of clothing from my body. Common sense suddenly hit me directly in the face, making me realize that even if I was dying to spend the night with the woman I had loved for more than two years, what I was doing was horribly wrong.
"Lauren we can't." I told her seriously. The taller girl rested her forehead against mine and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before opening them and meeting my gaze again.
"Why not? I swear I'm not drunk." Lauren told me placing her hands on my bare waist.
"Because you're engaged, and even though I really don't think you should, I know you're going to end up marrying Luis anyways." I explained taking a step away from her grip and held my head, suddenly realizing what a big mistake I had almost made.
"Camz..."
"No, you can't keep doing this to me Lauren. You can't just use me whenever you feel like it." I said, the anger in my voice growing more evident by the second. "You can't just kiss me every time Luis breaks your heart. I have feelings too, and you know exactly how I've felt towards you for the last two years of my life." I added starring deeply into the green eyes in front of me. "I'm not going to do this anymore. If you want to be with me then you have to break up with Luis, but I just won't be your rebound." I finished saying and walked decidedly towards the door.
"Camila wait." She pleaded holding my hand tightly.
"Are you going to break up with him?" I asked her seriously and kept my eyes firmly on hers. Lauren took a deep breath and silently rubbed the back of my hand with her thumb.
