Lauren woke up to the almost forgotten feeling of Luis's body next to hers. She barely recognized the masculine figure lying next to her when she first opened her eyes, but then remembered they were actually back together and their wedding day was dangerously close. Of course the green eyed girl wasn't completely sure of her decision, but for once she decided to listen to her head instead of her broken and confused heart. She wasn't sure if what she was feeling towards Camila was real or just a senseless crush she'd get over in a couple of days, but more than two weeks had passed and she still found herself thinking about the brown eyed girl more often than she'd like to admit.

Everything reminded her of Camila, and even if she had tried several times to distract herself, Camila was permanently stuck in her thoughts. The fact that the young singer was in the other side of the country wasn't making things any easier for Lauren. She constantly wondered if Camila was doing okay on her own, after all, Lauren knew that even though the younger Latina was an introvert, she hated being alone. Dinah was living there though, and that lessened Lauren's worries, but she still felt the urge to call Camila all the time.

Dinah had been pretty clear about the fact that Camila didn't want to talk to her, and the pictures of her and Austin kissing were forever plastered on Lauren's mind, but the green eyed girl still had the hopes that Camila would knock on her door and walk back into her life. Lauren knew it was highly unlikely, especially considering Camila probably hated her after what had happened, but there was a slight chance, and Lauren decided to hold on to that instead.

"Morning babe." Luis suddenly mumbled sleepily and pressed his body ever closer to Lauren's.

"Hey, I thought you were still asleep." Lauren answered focusing her attention on Luis's half opened eyes.

"I just woke up." He announced stretching his arms. "And I definitely sleep better here with you than sharing a bunk bed with my smelly roommate." Luis added kissing Lauren's cheek lovingly.

"Well, this is going to be the rest of our lives." Lauren responded and realized shortly after how serious her answer had sounded.

"Yeah, and I already know I'm going to be the happiest man alive." Luis said planting another kiss on Lauren's forehead. "I'd love to stay, but I have to get to class. Are you free for lunch?"

"Umm... I don't think so, I'm sorry. But I'll call you." Lauren told him with a smile and watched the tall man walk towards the door after putting his shirt back on.

"Okay, last night was amazing. I love you." He told her sincerely.

"I love you too, see you later." Lauren answered with a smile and Luis closed the door behind him shortly after.

As soon as she was alone again, she couldn't fight it anymore. Lauren had to call Camila before she completely lost her mind. She hadn't talked to her former bandmate in a couple of days, and if she didn't make sure Camila was okay, she wouldn't be able to think straight again. Even though Dinah had asked her to stop trying to reach the brown eyed girl, Lauren couldn't help it.

She desperately looked for her phone around her evidently messy dorm room, and after several minutes she finally remember she had left it in her jacket's pocket. Luis had unexpectedly showed up for a late night visit last night, and after spending a couple of days apart, they wasted no time before restarting their life as a couple again. But, it hadn't felt right. It's not that Lauren didn't want to be intimately connected to her soon to be husband, but she just didn't feel the passion she expected to feel after giving herself completely to the man she was supposed to spend the rest of her with. Maybe she was just nervous, or stressed out after everything that had happened with Camila lately, and that had affected the experience, but either way, the lack of connection between her and Luis had started to worry her.
