Chapter 1: The beginning

Nika's POV

"It's boring." Jillianne whined. Five bestfriends, including me, were all sprawled in the couch at Jillianne's house, nothing was good on the T.V so we decided to turn it off.

"Any thoughts on what to do? TV shows are bland, they just keep on repeating." Patrish exclaimed. Silence filled the air because of us thinking of what to do in the meantime.

"Why don't we go to the mall?" Ryza asked. 
"We could check out some cool stuff."

"The mall that's just a few blocks from here? it's so small that it just has a supermarket, that's boring." Patrish said with a bored look. That mall was old but it still working.

All it has is a supermarket, no clothes store, no fast food chain, no arcade, it doesn't even have a bathroom. That's all it has, a supermarket, that looks about to crumble when an earthquake occurs. That's how old it looks but atleast some people around here still buy food there. I wonder how the food taste.

"No, I wasn't talking about that I was talking about the new built mall that was just opened a couple of days ago."  Ryza explained.

"Yeah, I'm cool with that, as long as it's not boring like the other one. You girls down?" Andrea looked at us expecting an answer.

"Yup." Jillianne, Patrish, and I said in unison, we all looked at each other. 

"Jinx. I was first." I teased. Jillianne and Patrish groaned, we were always like that everytime we said something in unison. I would always win, what can I say I'm a competitive bitch.

"I'll just call my sister so she wouldn't worry." I informed them. We all stood up and parted our ways going to each of our rooms.

They were probably going to dress up, you know us girls, we need to look fabulous always. I opened my phone and typed the number of my big sister. After the second ring, she answered. I heard all of them giggling and in the background was spongebob squarepants laughing in the T.V. I thought when 25 and 26 year olds is staying at each others' house they'll partying and drinking alcohol, not watching spongebob squarepants.

"You guys are watching spongebob?"

"Yeah spongebob squarepants aren't only for kids Nika. Oh yeah why did you call? Do you need something?" I heard her footsteps and the giggling was fading out, assuming she was going to a private room.

"Nah, I was thinking of going to the new built mall that's a 2-hour drive from Jill's house. I just wanted to inform you, I don't want you worried"

"Stop being a goodie-good little sister, I know you want something. I already deposited extra moneu on your bank account, and I saw untouched 500 grand. Do you still even buy shit?"

"I'm saving money, so that when we go broke, I have backup money"

"I can't believe you're my sister"

"Touché, I'll put you in speaker 'cause I need to dress up" I pressed the speaker button and placed down my phone on my bed.

"Um-kay, here are rules you should follow since you're going to be 3-hours away" I opened my cabinet and pulled out a black Thrasher shirt and hoodie.
