Zombie Apocalypse (GXG) *ON-GOING*

Chapter 21: Deep wounds

Nika's POV

"Leo stay with the girls, Jake and Audric check the back, Asher and I will check the front." Allen said through the bangs. Ashley still had her arm around my shoulder, she gently soothed my shoulder as our ears was barely handling the loud bangings on the gate.

"Hey," I called out to the boys and they looked at me. "Be careful."

"We will princess." Jake said. They all proceeded to their route while us three girls and Leo stayed on the lounge area. After a few minutes of loud bangings, Allen and Asher came running back inside and rushing to get the guns they stored.

"We're getting raided by zombies, aren't we?" Ashley said, I gulped nervously. God please give the hotel gate the strength it needs to hold off the flesh eating zombies.

"You ain't wrong there." Asher said, he cocked his Vector gun and ran back outside. After some minutes Jake and Audric ran back panting.

"The back gate might collapse, hordes of zombies are tackling it. They might have smelt our scent in here." Audric said, breathing hard.

I stood up and ran to room I'm staying in, I grabbed my Magnum and AK47. I ran back down and headed straight to the back of the hotel, Ashley and Audric tried to call out to me but I didn't stop. I opened the back door and saw horde of zombies tackling the gate, their hands were reaching in inside trying to get to me. I turn off the safety and aimed my AK47 at the flesh-eating zombies.

A guy zombie that had a decomposing left cheek, you can see his teeth and his cheekbone. Blood was dripping down his mouth letting me know someone might have whacked his jaw out. A girl zombie had her clothes ripped open, her collarbone was ripped open too. Blood filled her clothes, her face looked crooked, her mouth was twitching wanting to taste human flesh.

There was a little zombie too, I couldn't make out what gender it was since it's hair was washed out. Half of its head had a dent on it, blood dripping down its crooked face, it's neck had a slice through it. My blood boiled as I remembered my sister's bite, one kind of these assholes bit my sister. I cocked my gun and aimed at one of the heads.

"I hope you all go to hell." I breathed out as a pulled the trigger.

The zombie flew back due to the impact, the bullet pierced through his head then it pierced through the other zombies head behind him. I aimed my gun at the kid and pulled the trigger, their growls started to go louder. Their arms wanting to reach to me, there's one bad thing and a good thing.

The good thing, I could shoot the zombies between the lines of the gate. Bad thing is that most of them are able to fit half of their bodies through. Snarls came out of their bloody mouths, I cringed as I imagined being bitten by those shitheads. I pointed my gun at a woman who looked like in her mid 30's but I heard a gunshot beside me making the woman fly back.

"I ain't letting you here alone." I heard Ashley said, I looked at her and saw her holding this camouflaged military gun that I don't know the name of.

"Me too." Chelsea spoke to my other side, I looked at her and saw her holding an automatic shotgun, she cocked it then aimed at the zombies.

We started shooting the rest of the zombies, it actually felt like the more we kill zombies more zombies come. I studied the gate and it was almost broken loose, the screws were loosened and the gate was slightly swaying. I prayed to God inside my head, wishing to give the gate the strength it needs to hold the zombies off as well as the front gate.
