Chapter 2: Danger

Nika's POV

"We're here." Jillianne killed the engine and we all undid our seatbelt.

"I need to withdraw money first then we'll go buying like maniacs." I grabbed my bag and hopped off the car. I closed the door, and saw how crowded the parking lot is.

We're lucky, Jillianne's car is parked close to the entrance of the mall. I might say, this mall surely cost a lot. Outside of the mall, you can see shimmering lights, and three chandeliers at the entrance. There's a lot of banners for example McDonalds', Gucci, Supreme, Pizza hut, Waffle house and a lot more. I think we'll spend a lot in this mall, especially when it's about food.

"Did you girls brought your credit card?" They didn't respond, guess what they did. They lift all their credit cards in front of my face.

"Oh edi kayo na mayaman, kayo na maraming pera." (You girls are rich okay, you have a lot of money) I told them with a sarcastic tone but with a playful glare, which made them laugh.

"Sige kung mayaman kami, libre ka na namin." (Okay if we are rich people, we'll treat you) Jillianne asked. I made a thinking face, but nodded anyway.

"I guess I don't need to withdraw money?" I asked. All of them nodded and we headed towards the ATM machines that was just located outside. After 30 minutes, they finally finished.

"I'm so excited to shop that I want to buy the whole fucking mall." Ryza exclaimed. All of us laughed and we walked in front of the entrance. The guards squinted their eyes on us. My bestfriends were already checked and their bags, now it was only me.

"Arms up, miss." I did what I was told, when I walked through with my bag. The alarm goes on, making the guards alert.

"Let me see your bag, miss." I gave my bag to the lady guard. She opened my bag and saw my essentials, hopefully not the knife. She mumbled to the other guard 'It's nothing ' she closed my bag and handed it to me. She apologized and I just nodded.

"You almost got caught with your knife Nika," Ryza exclaimed. She held her chest while breathing heavily. "You're going to give me a heart attack."

"Pssh, it always happens." I whispered while I wore my bag.

"Where should we go?" I asked. My eyes wandering whole mall, it was bright. Chandeliers were everywhere, people offering their products and just wandering people.

"Maybe we should eat first, I'm hungry." Jillianne suggested, rubbing her tummy, in time, her stomach made a noise. She blushed in embarrassment and covered her face while we laughed at her.

"Sure, where though?" Andrea asked, scratching her head.

"McDonalds?" I suggested. They all nodded and after a few minutes of walking, we found McDonald's.

Jillianne ran towards the entrance of McDonald's, which caused the people to laugh at her silly attitude.

Ryza and I found a seat for five, and the three were taking our orders. I didn't want to use my phone because I didn't have any games or something entertaining in my phone.

"Nika?" Ryza called out. I turned my full attention to her.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?" She asked. I squinted my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows.
