Chapter 19: Unfanthomable feeling

Reagan's POV

It's been a day after we left Nika, Audric and Asher. There's a big tension between Jillianne and I, Jillianne explained everything to them but of course they didn't take her side or my side as well.

"Reagan you should eat, you didn't eat dinner last night." Rhett said. All of us are at the dining table, all of them are eating peacefully but seeing three chairs empty made my stomach lurch in guilt.

"Eat? Do you think I could eat knowing I left my friend and my girlfriend to die?!" I slammed the table making everyone flinch, everybody became quiet and silence took the whole room.

"All of you only think about are yourselves." I harshly spat at them. I make my way up to my bedroom and lied down on my bed, still having the bedsheet Nika and I cuddled into. I smelled Nika's scent fill the whole room, her smell's intoxicating but the person isn't here beside me. We left her and I did nothing about it.

Nika's POV

"You could put your things over there at the couch, clothes and towels are available at the closet. You can pick whatever style of clothing you want, extra toothbrush is in the bathroom, red and green are ours so yours is the blue, oh and feel comfortable here." Ashley said tapping the big bed as she laid down.

The room of the Stewart's sisters was really big enough for three persons, there were a large bed and a twin size bed beside it. A medium sized nightstand was placed in the middle of it, there were paintings up the wall and a wall clock. I placed my gun on the leather couch and my gun holder which had my Magnum in it.

"Where do I sleep?" I asked as I sat on the arm of the couch, she rested her head on her left hand and looked at me.

"Right here." She tapped beside her, I furrowed my eyebrows and crossed my arms.

"Shouldn't I be on the twin size bed? If not then who's sleeping beside me? And shouldn't you sisters be sleeping beside each other?" I asked. She looked at me amusedly and smirked.

"You ask too many questions but I'll happily answer them, Chelsea is sleeping on the twin size bed because she doesn't like it when there's someone sleeping beside her, and that answered your second question, I'll be sleeping beside you. Your third question was already answered by my first explanation which is Chelsea doesn't like sleeping with someone beside her, even with her own sister." Ashley explained, I nodded and noticed Ashley was smirking at me then she crunched her nose.

"You should take a bath." Ashley said while covering her nose playfully, I giggled at her remark.

"Are you saying that I stink?" I asked as I got a new towel, she looked at me with the same smirk.

"Yes babe." Ashley said then chuckled after. I remembered Reagan with the word Babe, I sighed and smirked back.

"Babe? Are you serious?" I asked, letting my towel sit on my shoulder for some time waiting for us to say something.

"Yeah, I like 'Babe', but I like you more." She said. I kind of blushed at her response, she's expert at this flirt scheme she's doing to me.

"FYI I have a beautiful name, and it's Nika. Thank you for understanding." I sassed. She just chuckled silently, and stood.

"I like babe more, it suits you." She said with a wink, this girl is a handful. She's making me forget about all the things I don't want to remember.
