Douching does not prevent pregnancy! You cannot rely entirely on this method when trying to protect yourself from unwanted conception.
To begin with, you're unlikely to manage it right after ejaculation. Even if you are able to do it, douching doesn't guarantee that all the sperm will be washed away from the vagina.
If you have had unprotected sex or the condom broke during intercourse, you might need to resort to emergency contraception.
To control conception wisely, consult a doctor and choose the optimal method of protection together.
You can also douche too much and become "too clean", and the you'll end up giving yourself a yeast infection.
I actually have done this. I douched twice in one day and i ended up giving myself a really itchy and painful yeast infection.
