Poe, Finn, and Ben carried the food from the mess hall into the Millennium Falcon. They sat several trays of food on the table.
"Thank you," said Leia.
"You're welcome," Poe replied.
Ben nodded. Then he, Finn, and Poe sat down at the table. Chewbacca came over to join them. As soon as they were all seated, they began eating at once.
Rey had never seen so many different kinds of delicious looking food. Everything tasted so good that she began eating quickly, and within moments her plate was clean.
Ben noticed her empty plate and smiled at her. "Do you want some more?" he asked her.
She didn't want to ask him to get more food for her, but she found herself nodding.
He smiled and took her plate, he knew that she had been starving only a day ago. He was glad that she finally had the food and water she needed. He hoped that she would never know hunger again.
"So, how did you get involved with the First Order kid?" Han asked Finn.
"I have always been in the First Order," Finn answered. "I was raised in the First Order. Every since I can remember, I have been trained to be a stormtrooper."
"A stormtrooper?" Poe asked.
"Yes," Finn replied, not understanding why he was asking that question.
"Were all of the stormtroopers raised in the First Order?" Poe asked.
Finn nodded.
"Do you think that you could convince some of them that the First Order is evil?" Poe asked. "You joined the Resistance. You chose to change. Maybe if some of the other stormtroopers heard your story, they would join the Resistance too."
"... I don't know." Finn answered after a long moment.
"Could be worth a try," said Han. "I mean what's the worst thing that they could do you?"
"Shoot at me, or try to kill me." Finn replied.
"Well, They're already doing that." Han pointed out.
"I guess you're right," he answered.
"I'm always right," Han replied, a big smirk appeared on his face.
Leia turned and gave him that look. Han knew what that meant. He might not understand her completely, but he knew what that look meant.
"Because I always listen to her," he added, pointing to Leia. "And she's always right."
Ben chuckled softly as he entered the room just in time to hear the exchange between his parents. He sat down next to Rey as he handed the plate to her. It was piled high with various types of food.
"Thank you," she said, then she began eating right away.
Han leaned over the table. He motioned for Poe, Finn and Ben to do the same.
The three young men exchanged glances, before leaning forward. They were all curious about what Han might have to say.
"Let me tell you a secret about women." Han whispered, quietly, but he didn't do much good because Leia and Rey were listening in on their conversation. Of course, Han knew this. "Always tell them that they are right," he said. "No matter what. It will save you a lot of pain."
Finn looked at him confused. But Poe and Ben who had known Leia their whole lives, were nodding vigorously. She was very strong willed. They had leaned that it was best to just agree with her, than to argue with her.
"He's right," Leia said smiling.
They all turned to look at her.
Han pretended to be surprised. "I am?"
She smiled at him. "This time," she said.
Han leaned closer to her and kissed her lips gently.
