A loud and horror movie like scream resonated throughout the whole house, making me fall out of my bed with a loud and painful thud.

When did I ever get that kind of alarm on my phone?

I groggily stood up and took my phone to check the time. The light of my phone blinded me at first but I soon saw the time.

5:45 AM.

Saturday.

Huh. Wait a second.

I don't have an alarm. I have my lovely brothers to wake me up for school.

"Then what was that sound... " I mumbled as I headed towards my door, opening it then I went downstairs.

Another scream was heard and I heard someone going down the stairs. I saw Jayden and Noah tiredly walk towards me.

"G'morning." Noah yawned and he ruffled my hair. I didn't protest because I was too sleepy to do so.

"You heard it too?" I mumbled.

"Who wouldn't?" Jayden snorted. "It's like someone's murdering a person in our house."

I yawned and nodded in agreement.

"Should we look for the reason why we're here looking like some crazy cavemen?"

Huh, we look like some crazy cavemen.

Our hair was a mess and we look like a bunch of old, grumpy, tired cats. We also don't have our socks on so our feet was freezing. Well, my feet was freezing, I don't know about them if they feel the coldness of the floor or not.

"It's obviously Kyle." Jayden answered, stretching his arms with a groan.

"THROW IT AWAY!" Speaking of the devil.

"It's flying dude!" Shouted Xendrix followed by Kyle's girlie scream from the horror movies.

"Well that explains the noises." Jayden mumbled and he walked towards where the panic voices were heard. Noah and I followed him.

When we reached the living room, I raised a brow at what I saw.

"Are you guys playing the floor is lava or something?" Noah groaned but I could hear the slight amusement in his tone.

I crossed my arms and shook my head in disbelief.

Lucas and Daniel was on the small wooden table with pots and slippers in their hands, it looks like they were struggling to stay put because the table was small and they'll fall if they keep moving restlessly.

Xendrix and Kyle was on the couch, their feet was not touching the floor. Isaac seems to be looking for something that's valuable because he seems to be frantically looking for something on the floor.

They look comical.

I'm so annoyed right now because we woke up this early in the morning just to see them playing a game?

"No you a*shole!" Kyle shouted frantically at Noah.

Noah rolled his eyes. "Well someone's clearly not in a good mood."

"It will fly again if you don't look properly!" Daniel scolded angrily while Isaac groaned loudly.

"Why don't you switch positions with him if you're just gonna nag!" Xendrix defended in irritation.

"I found it!" Isaac triumphantly said as he held his slippers up in the air before striking at whatever he was trying to hit with the slippers.

"Did you kill it?" Lucas whispered.

Isaac nodded and then he grinned at us with a... Dead cockroach in his hand. He was holding the antenna of the dead insect and it looks gross, it looks like the guts of it was spilled.

"That's just nasty stuff." Xendrix scrunched his nose in disgust.

Isaac nodded. I can't believe that all of them got so worked up by an insect. They look like they were going to be fighting a war because of how alarmed and serious they look right now.

A devious smile crawled its way to his lips and I know that it doesn't lead to anything good.

Heck, whenever my brothers smile like a devil, it always doesn't lead to anything good.

Before I knew it, Isaac threw it at Lucas and Daniel's place, making them screech as they stumble to get away from it. Daniel threw it at Kyle's place causing the two boys to fall out of the couch with a thud, they were all shouting incoherent words but I think that they're cursing at the people who threw the insect while complaining about it because their expressions said so.

"Get that thing away from the poor clean couch, Isaac!" Lucas glared at the laughing latter.

"It's still moving!" Xendrix shouted.

"Don't kill it in the couch!" Lucas growled when he saw Kyle raising his slippers up to kill it now for good.

"You care about the couch?" Kyle shouted. "You freaking care about the couch?!"

"Yes! I do!" Lucas groaned.

"You shouldn't! You should care about our well-being because that thing will kill us if we don't kill it first!" Kyle grimly said to him.

What kind of logic was that?

Isaac was just laughing in the corner. He looks like he's gonna die from laughter now.

Why is my family so embarrassing?

"How about getting breakfast at this diner that I saw just a few drives away?" Noah suggested, ignoring the chaos in front of us.

"Breakfast sounds great." Jayden said and I nodded in agreement.

We were about to leave when Daniel's mad voice stopped us.

"You're leaving us here to deal with this?"

It's like the situation is a life or death thing.

"Yeah, I mean you guys can handle it." Noah shrugged.

"I thought that you guys are better than this." Jayden joked with a 'tsk tsk' to add it.

I could see them glaring at us and I only smiled smugly at them.

"Seriously?" Xendrix shouted in disbelief. "There's a dead insect spilling its insides at your couch and there's also one wondering around right now! Do you seriously want to leave?"

"Please... " Kyle whined, sounding desperate now. "Help us!"

"We're not the insect terminators... "  I answered with a pout. "Plus that's my revenge for waking me up so early in the morning."

No one should wake me up this early in the morning.

When we finally got away from the chaos. My two brothers finally laughed maniacally at the chaos that we have just witnessed.

They look so scared. I wonder why they can't just sweep it off. Well to be honest, I was also scared at that crawling insect, it makes me shudder and that was why I didn't want to help.

Jeez, my family don't act like their age sometimes.
