Drowning in sorrows and pain was like a never ending torture. A person will never know when it will stop or if it will ever stop. It's unpredictable and it's part of the process of healing. Although it will leave scars, it will fade overtime.

But sometimes, a person don't know when to rise from the dark and from the bottom side of the negativity. It will always hunt you down and it will always follow you until you can't stand it anymore.

For the Stones family, when they lost Lydia, it was like someone stabbed their hearts over and over again. It was painful. It was truly painful. But now that she's gone, now that she's dead, they created another problem. They created another problem that made them feel much worse than when Lydia died.

And that feeling was like they were dying inside.

They're now fighting with guilt and regret and it felt like those emotions were burning their insides and that's why it felt like dying.

It was beyond painful, it was excruciating.

Sam found out on her own about what happened in the past, she's trying to put on a brave face even though she's failing. She was willing to forgive them. Or give a damn thought about forgiving them. And that made them feel like a bunch of cowards. She, who's been through a lot, was willing to try and forgive them.

That's just...unbelievable.

It was foolish of her, really, but Sam was too kind and thoughtful for her own good and for the first time, they didn't saw a dependent girl who always stays at her brothers' side or a bratty chatterbox. They saw the determination, the willingness to fix herself, to stand up for herself and try to heal as much as possible in order to be okay for them.

For herself.

And that's real courage and bravery is like that made them put to shame.
They're too scared to tell her and now she found it out herself. They're the real fools here. They're the real idiot, insensitive freaks.

For Xendrix, he thought that out of everyone, he's the most hurt because he lost someone who's very close to him, someone who's like his other half, his better half and he'll never forget the pain he felt when he lost Lydia. But then, suddenly he was wrong. Samantha was the one who endured a pain that could level his.

Because Samantha felt betrayal from her own family.

She found out that her own family chose Lydia over her, she went through hell just to remember those memories, and because it got worse, she needed to go to the hospital. She went through all of those alone, whereas Xendrix have support when Lydia died. Do you know how much guilt are on each and every shoulders when they heard that Sam was going to forgive them?

Xendrix can relate to the pain Sam is feeling, the feeling of being lost and alone but what he can never relate was was what kind of pain they have been through. His and hers was different.

It's different.

Silence flooded the room as they all watch Sam stagger away from them. It was a painful sight and she didn't deserve it. The silence was thick and unbearable that it was almost palpable.

Nobody spoke, nobody moved. Everyone just stayed in their spots, their expressions laced with grief and with a never ending guilt and sadness.

The what ifs were now circling in their minds. Is this what Samantha felt when she was conflicted with her problems? The what ifs and questions that could be a possibility to lead to something different? What a torturous thing its doing to someone's mind.
