"Young lady....EB. Look at me. Clark is not going to be able to handle this. I very much doubt Miss Trinity is coping with this turn of events either..." Benton paused..."I am still trying to get my head around it. But, we have a job at hand! We can get it done.." He gripped EB's shoulders.
"You want to help Mrs Clark...Yes? Of course you do. And, you want to help Miss Trinity and Ethan? Need I ask..." Benton took EB to Ethan..."I need some blood. I know how to do on the spot transfusions. But. I need someone just like you.." Benton pulled at EB's thin arm.
"Once a upon a time. We used a pump, and filter. Sometime we were successful, sometimes we caused more problems than a solution. You won't see where I'm heading....No one should do what we good soldiers did on the battlefields. Do you understand that? Yes? Good!..." Benton checked Ethan over...."He's still fresh. We can save him. He will be different, but we can handle that.." Benton looked at EB.
"Your thinking, we should let him go....Yes? Young lady, he was already gone before we laid eyes on him. His human life ended when he walked out of wherever he came from. We, here at the house gained someone special. But. That person is gone too. We, can't let this shell become worm food. I don't want him joining the lost souls that dwell here. That just wouldn't be right!..." Benton gave EB a look of assurance, but then frowned.
"Truth is....We have to keep him going. We just do..." Benton started to lay out his tools.
Clark didn't handle situation well at all - She stood, stared, screamed, stopped breathing...Fainted. EB was at her side within minutes. Her and Bell moved her to a quiet spot in the gardens, Bell sat with her. Geer got to work moving Ethan.
"Sir, he's still just breathing. Shouldn't he be okay? He doesn't break..." Geer had confused look to his face, his voice kept asking question after question. All Benton could say for sure...."The land and mansion can't have him. If he comes back a little less, a simpler version we are used too. We will work with that!.." Benton gave him a stern nod. Geer chewed his lip....The freshly dead never did well in the grip of the land and mansion.
They got lost. Used. Had to be watched out for. It was sad really. A real shame!

Ethan lay still. He tried to keep his eyes shut, but they popped open. A very unsettling thing to have that happened (They looked very unsightly. Pink, red and black/brown) He hadn't wanted me to push him from the roof, he didn't mind great heights (He just wasn't keen about falling from tall buildings!)
Some thing fell out of him, as he fell. Something that was important, or at least they thought they were important. Ethan didn't enjoy the landing part, his neck was already a goner - But landing on it just immensely hurt. He could feel hands on him, a tightness around his neck. The tightness went to his shoulders too.
He could hear crying, someone was sorry (Then, their voice went angry and filled with words he knew he knew, but couldn't place them in normal conversation) They were too loud, and filled with a deep pain filled rage. Ethan wanted to sit up, but all he could achieve was having his eyes open.
A small voice whispered in his ear, told him to stay calm.....The "waiting" wouldn't be too long, he just needed to be still. Ethan wanted to move, he could feel himself becoming stiff and sore.
He stretched his body, looked to his side....There was a girl in his bed! Ethan blinked a few times, yep! She was still there. She looked so cute....Mostly peaceful. But, cute too! Ethan lay on his back a minute, stared at the ceiling. God, he hated this room! It was small, cold.....He felt cramped.
