Abby stood up, gave her hair a small comb with her fingers (A leaf fall away) She looked over to Fern.  Tried to pull her thoughts together.  Her dear friend was shaken, but slowly relaxing.    They had been flicked through a door, sucked out a window.     They were to be removed.   Stella's hand had moved fast, swift.     The garden was the safest place for them.   They could take cover - Hide.     But, Abby didn't want to hide from what was happening, she knew deep down there was absolutely nothing her or Fern could do.

Angels can be trouble at the best of times, but Archangels could be the death of them.   Between humans doing their awful things, witches using them for one spell or another....But, Archangels - Were the worst.      Humans just didn't understand (Ignorant silly people)    Witches could be talked around, made to see the error of their ways.     But, Archangels - Just knew better (Always had, and always will!)

Abby moved closer to Fern, put an arm around her...."You'll be okay.    Your with me. I'm royalty.   My kind are always better than most!.."    She gave her dear friend a smile, and small squeeze of the shoulders.   Fern leaned into her, nodded.

"We're heading back in?   Aren't we?    For Hector?      Yes?.."       Fern could already see Abby's eyes shining in the dark.

"I can't leave him.   I can't help him.   But, I have to be in there, it'll be the death of us both....But, if anything happens to him.   I have to be there. And, pledge my revenge.     I made a request, the house will honour it.....One way or the other..."      Abby went quiet a second.    "Fern.   I knew what I was asking when I did it.."

Fern let out a small sigh.   She had witnessed Hector placing his stumps for hands into Abby's.....His soul was her's as proof to what had been agreed a upon.    Hector had also promised a few other things, Fern had politely lowered her eyes.    Both fairies moved from their hiding place, stalked across the grass.

They found a vine going right up to the top to the roof, they quickly climbed (Using their wings every time they thought they would fall)   Fingers were wedged into brick work, feet placed on stone work poking out.    Every so often both Abby and Fern would peep into a window.     My mother and Father were asleep within a darken room, on a large bed.

Their sleep looked too deep, their chests not raising.      Fern stopped Abby a minute..."The magic is awfully strong.      They can't stay like that forever.    I want this over now, but not too quickly.     Abby!    Something very unnatural is happening here.."     Fern suddenly gripped her friend's hand.

"I know!    I know only too well.    Fern, if your too scared...Stay on the roof.    I will do this alone..."       Abby knew Fern wouldn't agree to that, and within mere seconds Fern glared back.

"NOOOO!    I come, I protect yooou!.."     And, with that - Abby was hauled up the side of the building to the roof.     They both stood a minute, then Fern grabbed her friend and pushed her down the nearest chimney.    Abby had expected all of this treatment, and she took it with a grin.     Fern was her oldest friend (But often very fearful for her. Abby knew Fern saw her as a delicate flower - But Abby was anything but)      Fern was the sensitive one.

Their slide down the chimney wasn't an easy one, they kept getting caught in the pockets of soot (It was full of dust, a bit oily....And the colour of tar) Once they were safe at the bottom, each young dusted off the other - Fern wasn't impressed with the "oily" smear spots. Abby assure her, they would find a basin - "cleanse" themselves. What they did find was Ethan, but they both held back (He might put them both back outside) And, make a better job of keeping them out again than Stella.
