Chapter 24

I woke up, sweating and panting.

I was still in the same hospital chair.

"Love, you 'right?" Miles asks.

"Yeah... What happened?" I ask.

"Dunno love. You tell me"

"N-Nightmare" I mutter.

"C'mon. We gotta go now, they need to do surgery on 'im." He patted my back and helped me stand up.

"Bye baby" I whispered to Alex, kissing his lips softly. I linked my arm with Miles and shakily walked down the hallway, meeting the rest of the group.

"Hey... Me and the girls were wondering if you wanted to come and have dinner with us?" Breana asked me.

"Y-yeah t-that's good" I muttered.

"Cool! We'll pick you up in 2 hours" She says.

"C-cool. Ok b-bye" I say, smiling and hugging her and Matt.

"Hey c'mon love. It will be ok. Keep your chin up" Matt says, kissing my forehead.

"Y-yeah" Was all I managed to get out. Breana and him walked out, hand in hand.

"See you soon love" Jamie says, kissing my forehead. 

"Call us if you need anythin', ok?" Nick says.

"Y-yeah... I will" I say, then hugging Kelly.

"I'll come over if you want?" Katie asks.

"It's ok... I c-can manage"

I forced a smile and kissed Hearst on the forehead, waving them all off.

What do I do now?

I walked back outside and by now it was dark,

7 pm

I hailed a taxi and got home safe.

I slipped out of my casual clothes and pulled out my plain white t-shirt and my black skinny jeans. I searched through my wardrobe and saw something that caught my eye.

A black and white checkered flannel type long sleeve.

Alex's.

I threw it on and felt safe. 

I put on my timberland boots and started doing my makeup. I couldn't be bothered with looking fancy so I smeared some red lipstick on.

 My phone started blaring so I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hello love, it's Penny! How are you?"

"Could be better, how about you?"

"Good! Listen, you're welcome to come over to mine and sleep over tonight!"

"Thank you Penny but i'll let you know!"

"Fantastic love, see you soon!"

"Bye bye!"

 I put the phone in my back pocket and walked downstairs. I went towards my vinyl collection, pulling out the "Is This It?" album by The Strokes, letting it fill the room.

I love The Strokes.

I made a cup of tea and let the kettle boil while I danced around the room like an idiot.

Arabella started ringing out of my phone. I groaned, turned the music off and answered it.

"Hey, all of us are ready. Are you?"

Breana.

"Yeah I am"

"Sweet. Is it ok if we pick you up now?"

"Sure! See you soon"

"Bye!"

I slouched down on the couch and waited.

So sorry for the really short crappy chapter, it's just a filler. I'm on the train station waiting for my train to go to Liverpool cause i'm in Manchester visiting my dad. Anyway another chapter will be up soon and it will be longer, I promise
