"Why are you filming me you aren't even going to send it to him" I giggled, covering my face with my hands as Alex filmed me on his iPhone.

"Who says I won't?" He said as I slowly turned my head.

"Ok hold on lemme fix my shit" I said, putting on Angles and fixing my hair slightly. I tied my hair into a high ponytail as Alex started recording.

"Happy fucking birthday Nick, i've never met you and never been to a concert but I really hope that changes. You're a massive inspiration to me and so many others, so I hope your birthday is as amazing as seeing your newborn twins. Before I go, thank you for ruining my life with your music you piece of shit"

I smiled widely as Alex giggled and I kept on going.

"I love you. Happy birthday Nicholas Valensi" I giggled as I kissed the camera.

"And, cut!" Alex said as I laughed. He drove through the lights as I turned up the music, turning down the window. 

"We should get a cat" He suggested.

"AND NAME IT LUNA!" I yelled.

"Deal" He laughed as we fist bumped eachother.

I loved it how it was so easy to make big desicions like that. 

"Do we have an aux cord?" I asked Alex. He shrugged so I opened the glove compartment, Alex immediatley shutting it.

"The fuck?!" I said, looking at him.

"G-Got it" He awkwardly smiled, holding it up. I rolled my eyes and plugged it into my phone, turning on a playlist I had on Youtube, consisting of Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, Vampire Weekend and The Strokes.

"It's pretty isolated innit?" Alex stated.

"Yeah, it is" I said, putting our towels down. I pulled my top over my head and threw it in the bag, pulling my shorts off as Alex pulled something out of his bag. As I started to walk away, he pulled me back.

"What?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowed.

"Uh.. Here" He said, handing me one. I looked it and was still confused.

"A plane ticket? Where are you going?" I asked. He laughed and held one up too.

"Read it" He said.

My eyes scanned the ticket until I found two little words.

To : New York
From : Los Angeles

I screamed.

And screamed,
And screamed,
And screamed.

No tears escaped, but I was extremely happy. I grabbed his face and pressed my lips against his as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Alex oh my god.." I laughed, jumping up and down. I grabbed his hand and started running towards the ocean, the cold water lapping at our feet. As we ran faster, we toppled over into the water and we were submerged. I tapped Alex's shoulder as I pushed a foot into his leg, swimming up. I burst out in laughter as he clutched his leg, swimming up too. 

"I'm gonna get you!" He said, diving towards me.

"No you won't!" I teased as I swam away, kicking water into his face. He grabbed my ankles as I squealed, lifting me up over his shoulder.

"Let me go!" I said, kicking and squirming.

"NEVER!" He taunted. He lifted me up into the air as I screamed.

"NO! ALEX LET ME DOWN!" I screamed, holding my stomach in laughter. He threw me into the water as I plummeted down, my feet hitting the sand eventually. I pushed myself up and the sun greeted me again, laughing. I rubbed my eyes and saw Alex swimming over to me. He wrapped his arms around my torso as they rested on either sides of my waist, his forehead resting on mine.
