All the Hail to our Queen!

Tifani's POV

"You are joking right?" I ask Karen and wait for an answer that doesn't come. "How is she? Is she going to come home?" I heart sinks just remembering how fragile she becomes when she is sick.
"She said that she doesn't want to get you and the girls sick!" Karen answers and says something to Stevie.
"Well, it's too late. The girls are already sick, so I think it would just be easier for them to be together making me worry less." I know that's Stevie is trying to keep the girls as healthy as she can, but being apart will just make everything more exhausting.
"I will let you know if she changes her mind. I just wanted to tell you before someone leaks it to the news." "It won't be me this time!" I try to make a joke about the time I shared that Stevie was recording a new song on Twitter, and it became a huge problem with the recording company.
"I'm glad you learned your lesson, Tiff. I remember you could barely sit for a week!" She chuckles and a shiver goes down my spine. That day was amazing, but Stevie and I got carried over while playing, and the result was my whipped ass. I couldn't even touch it for a few days.
"Shush Kar. I gotta go check on he girls now! Good night. I love you and my crazy wife!" I laugh and turn the phone off, checking on the girls and taking a long and relaxing bath.
I lay down on my bed and my arm runs around Stevie's side. I look outside the window and I feel my heart skip a beat, like a bad thing was going to happen, so I just close my eyes and pra to God to protect the love of my life...

Stevie's POV

I wake up shivering, the clock marks 5:15am. I look around the room and try to reach for my jacket that is hanging on a chair, but it feels like I'm being stabbed in my back. It hurts like hell.
I struggle but stand up, trying to call Karen. I see her asleep in the sofa; I try to walk towards her but my legs fail, making me fade to the floor. I can hear her voice before everything goes black.

I open my eyes, I try to breathe but I feel like I can't, so it becomes fast and short, like if I ran a marathon and was super exhausted. I look around and see that I'm attached to a lot of machines. I reach for a bottom that calls the nurse, and after a few seconds, Karen comes into the room with a doctor. She looks like she has been crying, and all I do is stare at her. The memories of my mother suffering with her emphysema make me shrink. I don't wanna that to happen to me.
"Mrs. Nicks..."  The Doctor starts and a reach for Karen's hand. "You are lucky that you had your assistant there. When you passed out and she called the ambulance, your fever was already at 110°F, which can leave an adult with permanent brain damage!" I swallow hard, and just smile at Karen. "You have a severe case of atypical pneumonia! If you took longer to come to the hospital, you probably would become an pulmonary emphysema!" He just looks at my chart and keeps talking. "I suggest that you go back to L.A. to be treated by your doctors, now that your life is not in danger anymore. Here's your release papers. A helicopter will take you to the airport! It was an honor to have you have with us. Get well soon, Mrs. Nicks!" He shake any hand and leaves the room.
I try to speak but Karen just raises her hand. "I'm talking now, Boss!" She is really mad and I can tell.
"Are you crazy Stevie? I told you five hundred times, but you just don't listen. I didn't even speak up before because you didn't have 3 girls waiting for you to go back home!" She is getting emotional, and so am I. "I had to call your wife at 6am to tell her that you were admitted to the hospital with freaking pneumonia because you couldn't just listen to us and rest at home when you got the flu!" She stops and hugs me tight. "You were shaking on the floor, and I didn't know what to do, so I just called 911 and prayed that you would be okay. Then after they checked you in, and had to tell Tifani what happened and make her not come here." I smile at the thought of my wife trying to get a flight here, just to take care of me. How could I be so stupid? I know that I always get sick when things become too emotionally crazy, but I just wanted the tour to be over as fast as possible.
"I'm so sorry, Kar. Can I go home now?" Karen kisses my head, before helping me to stand up and change.
"We are heading to the hospital in L.A. and that's my final answer!"

After what felt like an eternity, we landed in L.A. I still had a lot of machines attached to me, and a nurse that flew with us helped to get me to the car.
When we arrived at the hospital, I was getting a little lightheaded again, and I couldn't finish a sentence without having to breathe 3 times at the least. My whole body was hurting and I felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen.
"Stay with me, Stevie! We are almost there." Karen said while the pushed me faster, putting me on a stretcher as soon as I reached the doors.
"Call my Whit Dove." It was all I could say to Karen, before everything became pitch black.
