Ever since Ms.Lila Davies and Ms. Pricilla Peirez wal
ked into Yvonne's Meyers life, they stayed in her heart.

Both Lila and Pricilla were born and raised in Harrisville. They were freinds since kindergarden. They both left to study at the same university in the city. Lila became a nurse and Pricilla became a journalist. They lived in the same apartment and never married. They never had children either. They both moved back to Harrisville when they retired. By then, their parents had passed. They bought a house together which they both reside in.

Lila and Pricilla had left quite the impression on Yvie that Monday morning when they walked into her house a month ago.

Every morning for the past month, they have walked through the front door of her house. No questions asked.

Today was no different. Yvie had already prepared their breakfast for them. They both loved tea. However, Ms. Lila liked to have some peanut butter and bread. Whereas Ms. Pricilla liked some fruit and yougart.

"Morning dear." Ms. Lila said as she pecked Yvie on her right cheek and sat down at her usual spot in the garden. Ms. Lila loved the garden. She loved nature is general. She sat under the cherry blossom trees where Yvie had set up a nice place for her to eat.

"Morning darling." Ms. Pricilla said as she squeeze Yvies hand and went to her usual spot. Ms. Pricilla had bad hay fever. Therefore, she tried to stay as far as possible away from nature. Spring time was the worse time for Ms. Pricilla's hay fever. As such, she ate her breakfast in the patio.

With a rug on the garden floor, Yvie sat between them. That way,she managed to speak to both of them. Today was a rather quiet day. Nobody said much. It was a contented quiet. Each lost in their own world.

Yvie was thinking about her life so far in Harrisville. It was a rather small ghost town, only 300 people. Of which, most where old folks. Yvie was quite accustomed to the town life. She knew most of the folks names by heart. They were all sweet people.

Yvie could not even remember her life before Harrisville. Even though her parents phone her every day. She did not miss her hometown.

"Yvonne dear,"Ms. Lila said, snapping Yvie out of her bubble.

"You know the library  we have needs a manager. Someone to work with the administration. Now, Prissy has been doing that, as you know. But, she seems to have grown out of her position. We also need someone to help us with carrying the book and organising our library. And immediately I thought about you. You would be a great addition to the bookshop. What do you think? "Ms. Lila asked. She was glowing from happiness. Yvie looked at Ms. Pricilla, she was smiling too.

Ms. Lila and Ms. Pricilla co-owned the ghost towns local library. When they moved back, they bought the library from its previous owners and made it their own.

"We have excellent working hours. As you know, we only work from 1 pm until 4 pm. It's perfect for you too. I know you might not admit it. But, these 4 walls of this cottage must drive you nuts." Ms. Pricilla curtly added.

Yvie smiled at them. They knew her far too well. It was true. As much as I was having fun in the ghost town, the silence was a bit unnerving.

She had started her own vegetable garden. She had planted everything. From tomato to lettuce and everything in between. She started drawing a little. She took hikes. She started going to gym and swimming.

However, it seemed like the days were far too long. Ms.Lila and Ms. Pricilla usually left around 11 'of clock. She then spend the rest of her days trying to fill her day up. Their preposition was a saving grace.

"I have. And I'd love to help you in the bookshop." Yvie chirpinling said.

Ms.Lila and Ms . Pricilla nodded their heads. It was final. She would be working in the bookshop. She was excited for the opportunity and the challenge that lied ahead.

"When can I start?" She expectantly asked.

"How about today, if that's fine with you. "Ms. Lila said.

"Yes, today is perfectly fine with me." She said. Yvie was beyond glad. She was slowly, but surely finding her purpose in Harrisville.
