The Beast Inside Me

What's going on?

I woke up with an unusual pain in my head. I had no idea what had happened earlier, but not long after I snapped back to reality. I woke up tied to a chair somewhere I had never seen before, I didn't know what time it was but considering that I was already a beast I guessed. "hello? " I called out and not long after someone appeared in front of me. The person was dressed in all white and that was when my memory began to piece itself back together. " Master, she's awake "this person said and then a number of people dressed in white began to come out of the shadows. It looked like hundreds if not thousands of these people just coming out, I was more in shock than scared. After they had all come out, a terrifying and intimidating figure revealed itself.

What looked like twelve feet of pure horror stood right in front of me. I couldn't tell what it was but I knew it wasn't human and then it spoke to me. "It seems you carry some sort of unfamiliar power with you" it said to me, I just gazed in terror. "Mind to tell me where you got it from little girl? " it asked me, this creature didn't seem to be concerned about my appearance as a beast, well of course he wouldn't I mean, he looked hideous. " don't look at me like that, you are equally as ugly as I am" the creature said again. " Who are you? " I summoned the courage to ask, " I am Constantine. And you must be Mara" he said giving me a cold smile. " How do you know my name you prick?! " I yelled at him and there was complete silence for over a minute. " that doesn't matter does it little girl? Well you haven't answered my question, how come you have so much power. Is it inside of you? Or do you have something with you? And does it have something to do with Neptune? ". The instant he mentioned Neptune my heart skipped a beat, " How do you know about her?! " I yelled. " Oh, so it is her? Hmm, well you care to share something with us? We can do this the easy way or the hard way, choose wisely. If you want to do this the easy way just surrender whatever Neptune might have given you or whatever it is it that you have or the hard way we just kill you " his words sent shivers down my spine, I couldn't even think of what to say, I just sat there tied up and stared. " WELL SAY SOMETHING! " Constantine yelled at me. I tried to piece things together, how did he know Neptune? And what were his plans? I knew definitely that he wanted my crystal but didn't know what it was. I had just found it and I wasn't ready to give it up that easily. " Not a chance! I'm not giving you anything! " I yelled, Constantine frowned at my response and became very angry. This was when he revealed the more frightening part of him. He stepped into the light and his silhouette became more visible and clear. His claws were probably taller than me and eyes blood red in color. His entire figure was dark and his teeth were so long and large that they escaped out from the inside of his mouth. I was so scared that I nearly wet myself.
" Look little girl, I can be really scary, you think this is a joke?! " Constantine yelled at me really close to my face. " You know? I didn't know monsters didn't brush" I said mocking him. Constantine was now more furious than ever, he let out an incredibly loud roar that almost made me deaf. Trust me I was really scared but I tried to compose myself and hoped something or someone would come to my rescue and I was right. Immediately I heard another roar coming from the opposite direction, I looked back and saw another beast. " WHAT?! " I screamed as this beast sprinted towards me. I couldn't believe there was another beast like me, and I even wondered if there were more. " STOP THAT BASTARD! " Constantine ordered his servants as they brought out weapons and charged at the other beast. Then to my surprise, people dressed in black also emerged from behind and tried to fight off the the others long enough for the beast to rescue me. With its claws, it ripped off the rope and just carried me on its shoulder and ran off with literally the speed of light. Constantine chased after us but couldn't catch up, and then the beast and I flew off into the trees. It was so cool how we jumped from trees to trees, we were so high up in the sky I did actually feel like I was flying!
We finally came to a rest not too far from school. The beast dropped me gently on the floor and then left, then not too long after someone else appeared. It was the lady from my dreams, she was actually real! I still couldn't believe she actually was real and also I was still kinda perplexed about all the stuff that just went down. " What just happened?! " I asked her, " believe me, the activities that just took place might be too advanced for your understanding, but I shall try. Constantine is not a monster, he used to be a human just like you. Many of years ago, he was a French explorer who came to this land. He came across this strange land and began to discover dark secrets about this place. But one day, he ventured too far and was somehow turned into the monster that he is. That was when he discovered that this land held unimaginable power and he wanted all of this power to himself so he dedicated his life to finding power sources all over this town and making it his own. He also discovered that mystical creatures lived and strived here, he found out that this creatures all held strange powers so he started to capture these creatures and sacrifice them just to posses their powers. You must stay safe my child, people are out to get you. Do not trust anyone! And by anyone I mean anyone. " When she was done saying this I was mind blown, I had so many questions to ask but before I was able to, she snapped her fingers and I was back in my room.
