Hey guys! I know you're probably wondering why I'm updating today. Well it's because I've been really sick 🤧 and so I couldn't go to school today so I decided to upload a chapter today. Leaving for the hospital soon, hope I don't get a shot! And yes this is a special chapter, it's all about Constantine, we're gonna be seeing some pages from his journal. Well I hope you enjoy it!

February 18, 1958
I have departed from France by train, I will arrive at the strange land in some days. I have heard a lot about this strange town and I have embarked on this long journey to see if I can witness it myself. I left my wife " Claire" and my two sons for this, I miss them already and I cannot wait to return home after my research is done.

February 26, 1958
It has been some days since I arrived at America, I have settled down at the so called strange land. The residents there call this place " Dreamland " and I am very curious about this name. I set up a small tent somewhere in the forest and I have been observing for some days now. Surprisingly nothing has happened yet, I am beginning to wonder if this so called myth is even true.

March 2nd, 1958
Something strange happened today. The weather was hot today, I went somewhere deep in the forest in search of food and then I came across this strange place where it was raining. Everywhere around me was sunny but just that spot was raining. This did not make any sense to me, this doesn't apply to the laws of physics, could I have discovered the secrets of this town? Later today, I journied deeper into the forest and I came across another bizarre thing. There was a particular area of land covered in snow, it was not winter so how is this so? I even went into this place and snowflakes dropped from the sky. I am beyond marvelled by the extraordinary climate of this place or perhaps this might be more than just insane climate, maybe there is more to this. I believe that there is something stronger than me here, a force stronger than mankind, something out of the ordinary.

March 10, 1958
Things are becoming more unexplainable. Objects are just moving on their own and now I am hearing voices. I am beginning to believe I am not alone in this forest and that I am not safe.

March 29, 1958
This morning, something unbelievable happened. I was hunting for food and then I came across this bizarre looking creature. It was terrifying and the most terrifying thing was that it could speak. Animals cannot speak, what is happening? I am beginning to question my level of sanity. This evening I saw this woman, I tried to speak with her but right in front of my eyes she vanished, this is not the first time I am seeing somebody vanish in front of me.

April 22nd, 1958
I have fallen very ill, I have been not been able to carry out with my usual routine. I really wish to go home now and be with my wife and children. I am becoming more scared with each day.

July 15, 1958
Something very terrible has happened. I discovered this cave, it was filled tiny diamonds. They would probably be worth millions so I decided to take just a few of them. I continued to take them and then I saw a very large one. I tried to take it but it appeared to be somehow stuck to the wall so I pulled very hard and it came out. Then I was struck by unimaginable force and I fell to the ground. When I woke up I felt different. Somehow the diamonds were gone so I left the cave. I went to the stream to get some water to drink and when I looked at my reflection in the water I was frozen in fear. I was a hideous looking beast, I thought it was not real but when I felt myself I found out it was real. I was about nine feet tall and had very long teeth. I broke down and began to sob, I had no explanation for what had just happened and I now realized that I would never be able to see my family again or ever leave the forest again.

February 28, 1959
My journal was missing for a very long time but I have found it now. After I was turned into a beast I came across a woman. She said she was a Goddess and she was called Neptune. She had an explanation for what had happened to me, she said I had been cursed for touching those diamonds, I begged for her to turn me back but she said she had no power over what had happened and that the land was cursed. I also met some people, they look like humans but I am not sure. They are dressed in white all the time and I have formed an alliance with them. I have discovered that something happened here centuries ago and that it caused all those diamonds to scatter around the land. These diamonds posses incredible power but not all of them are that way. The ones that are light blue in colour are the powerful ones. I have been told that if I gather all eight of those special diamonds I will hold incredible power and that is my aim. Other people have also been cursed and turned into other things and I have started to capture these people and use them to gain power. When I take their souls I gain strength and I have become very powerful.

August 7th, 1959
I have found one of the diamonds and with the help of my minions I shall find all of them.

October 24th, 1959
There are other people here who want the diamonds. And there are also these people who are dressed in black clothes who are very powerful and want these diamonds too. I will not rest until I find those diamonds. This is for my family, I missed both my son's birthdays and my wife as well. I no longer care about how other people feel because I had everything taken away from me so I am not hesitant to take everything away from anyone. I will continue to grow stronger until I have it all and then the whole of Dreamland will belong to me.

That was the last time Constantine wrote in his journal.......
