Let me tell you something

     " Hey, did you miss me? " Neptune asked with a grin. " Oh, it's you? " I asked with a smirk, " no, it's Pinocchio, OF COURSE IT'S ME! " she yelled. I laughed, " hey I'm just teasing ya, what's up Nepts? " I asked, " NEPTS?! " she yelled " you know for some reason you don't seem like a girl whose soul is about to be taken for eternity. How many do you have now? " she asked. " Three " I told her, " just three? Wow! Clock's ticking girl " she said, " I know " I replied, I could tell Neptune was getting really worked up because of the way I was acting. " You know what Nepts? I don't care if you have my soul anymore, at least I tried right? And by the way I might actually have fun with the other trapped souls don't you think? But still, I have so many questions though " I said, " questions huh? Well I can answer all of them I mean after all I am as old as time " Neptune said proudly, " fine grandma, tell me something " I said. Neptune was obviously angry but she continued, " fine, let me tell you something. Wanna know a secret about Dreamland? Wanna know how it all started? " she asked, " YES! " I screamed in excitement, " very well " she said. 
     " Millenniums ago, beyond this planet, there was a clash between two titans, two gods. One fighting for vengeance and one fighting for justice. Both possessed power stronger than anything known to man. The clash was so great it broke the very fabric of reality. As they ventured towards your universe the clash grew even more intense and powerful by the second. And then, one blast so powerful was directed towards your planet, it was supposed to destroy it but it didn't. Instead it found its way into your planet and landed at a particular place now known as Dreamland. The blast created the very foundation of Dreamland, small fragments of the blasts landed on the foundation and grew trees and other beautiful things. But remember that one god fought for vengeance and the other justice, so some fragments poisoned the land with evil. That land was unlike any other place on this planet, it held powers not belonging to your universe and powers that can never be found anywhere else in your universe. Although the blast landed mainly on that land some fragments still managed to find their way to other parts of the world. That happening is the reason why this land is cursed. Because nobody knew how this land came to be, they made up lies, so darling, in history class, if you're ever asked the origin of this land, tell them this story. " Neptune said.
     " WHOA! " I exclaimed, " great story telling skills by the way " I praised her.  I had never been so moved by a story before in my entire life, I felt like I was actually seeing everything she was saying. " But I still have some questions though... " I said, " What? " she asked ," did you want this to happen to me? This whole curse thing. Cos sometimes I wonder if you actually sent that Summer girl to bring me here " I asked her with my arms crossed, " of course I didn't, why would I want you to mess with my light, didn't I tell how dangerous it was? You were just unfortunate I guess " Neptune said, " then who did? I know she's not normal so it has to be someone like.. Wait! It's Constantine right? " I asked, " how am I supposed to know? " Neptune said, " but I thought I said you knew everything? " I asked, " yeah but that doesn't mean I go around telling everybody? " Neptune said.
     " Fine that's enough! I can't believe we're actually getting along, be gone! " Neptune said as she snapped her fingers and I was back home in an instant. After the break was over we moved back to school, and also another thing, The Basketball was in three weeks, I was getting really worried. School was also going to end not too far from after The Basketball and by the way exams were before The Basketball so I had to start studying. It was really hard balancing studying training and all the other stuff I had to keep track of, I had never really had any problems studying, I mean I wasn't Albert Einstein or anything but my grades were always good. I went for training with Jullian again, it was the usual routine but something special happened that day, while I was about to leave, Jullian walked up to me. " Hey, Mara, I was wondering if you would like to go out for a movie or something? " he asked with his cheeks flushing a very light pink. My brain just literally exploded, Jullian? Asking me out? Did he actually like me? I couldn't believe it! I just stood there speechless, my mouth was moving but no words were coming out. My face was completely pink, I even started to sweat and my legs felt as weak as paper, I felt like I could collapse any second. I stood there not knowing a lot of minutes had already passed and I still hadn't responded, I snapped back to reality when Jullian softly placed his hand on my cheek and looked into my eyes and asked " are you okay? " that just did it for me, in all my life I had never been confronted by such sexiness! I fainted slightly but luckily Jullian's hard chest was there to catch me. " Mara! Are you okay? " he asked as he pulled me closer and tighter against his chest ( I couldn't help but smile) " yes, I think " I pretended to be having a headache. " Well about my question " Jullian continued, I finally summoned the courage " yes! " I said very quickly, " well, great " he said with a smile. 
     Jullian took me to see a movie, I had actually been wanting to see that movie for a while and I finally got to see it with him. There were a few moments that were really nice, like when he placed my hand in his and when he put his arm around my shoulder, he also let me wear his jacket when I was cold, ( he's so sweet! and cute too, I wondered why I was always lucky with the boys). When we were done with the movie we went for a stroll, Jullian took me somewhere, it had an amazing view of the ocean. " Wow! " I said when I saw it, he was really glad I liked it, " I come here to cool my head once in a while " he said. Jullian and I had a nice chat, he had never been that open with me before. " Mara, can I trust you? " he asked , " of course! " I replied quickly, " well, I want to tell you something, you have to promise not to tell anyone okay? " he said, " I swear! " I replied. " Well, you're gonna be the second person I've ever told this, it's actually no big deal but I just don't feel like telling people. My real name isn't Jullian, it's Alistair. And another thing, well, Mara, the curse of Dreamland didn't make me a pure blood, I was born that way. I've been alive for centuries now, I'm the last of my kind, my entire family was, was, well killed, I... I surv..survived " Jullian couldn't talk any longer, he broke down in tears. I wrapped him around in a tight hug, I kept on telling him it's okay, I had never seen Jullian that emotional before, I was worried. He was finally able to talk again. " I'm sorry Mara, I just, haven't talked about it for years now, I thought I had forgotten all about it, I, I wasn't prepared to remember " Jullian said as he wiped a tear from his eyes. I was really feeling for Jullian at the moment but I wasn't sure if I heard correctly, did he just say he had been alive for centuries?! He also said his real name was Alistair, all of it was happening too fast, I couldn't comprehend. " Well, should I call you Alistair from now on? " I asked him, " if you please, but just make sure nobody hears you " he said. " Mara, I've never seen a girl quite like you, you sparked something in me that hasn't been there for hundreds of years. Also, you remind me of someone I knew a long time ago, it's almost as if you're the same person, I like being around you, I really do, and it's a privilege to even have you as a friend. You're really special and I want you to know that I love you Mara, so much, and even though you don't feel the same way I don't mind " Jullian said. My head was spinning, did he just say he loved me?! Me?! I didn't know how to respond, I mean I always had a crush on him but I never knew he was that serious. He placed his hand on my lips and stroked gently, I was turning pink already, if there was one thing I sure knew about him was that he was a flirt. I stared into his narrow, sexy, blue eyes for a while and then out of nowhere he placed his lips softly against mine. I didn't hesitate, I kissed him back instantly, then he pulled me in for another kiss, this time longer and more passionate. I was proud to say that was the best kiss I had ever had in my entire life, I hugged him tightly and just stared into his eyes, he wrapped his arms around me tightly, I buried my face in his chest and just closed my eyes. It was a nice moment but then suddenly Jullian pushed me hard to the ground, "ouch! " I said as I glared at him with anger. Jullian had a very serious look on his face, like he saw something coming then I saw him put his hand in the air and catch something. I looked in terror as Jullian's hands were now filled with blood, I rose to my feet and got a closer look, Jullian just caught a long blade with his hand and then the blade was pulled back fast making Jullian moan slightly in pain. " JULLIAN! " I screamed as I ran to him, " get back! " he yelled as he pushed me back with his other hand, I was beyond confused, I didn't know what was going on, then I looked behind Jullian and not too far away from him someone who brought back so many bad memories stood there. It was night blade.....
