The Beast Inside Me

New power?!

     Constantine still held my mom firmly in that position. " LET GO OF HER! " I screamed at Constantine nearly cracking my voice. There was fear and confusion all over my mom's face, she started to turn blue and had tears in her eyes. " Hand over the crystal child! " Constantine said looking more furious than I had ever seen him, " I CAN'T" I yelled back, " well it looks like you don't care about your mother that much" Constantine said with an evil smirk on his hideous looking face. " I DON'T EVEN HAVE IT ON ME RIGHT NOW! " I yelled at Constantine, " fine, I give you five minutes to get it right now or this will be the last time you see your mother alive! " Constantine said. I wanted to listen to him but at the same time I didn't want to, I didn't want my mom to die but I also didn't want to loose that crystal, it was too important to me. I slowly started making my way back to my room with tears in my eyes but then I stopped and looked around, " no" I said. Without hesitation, Constantine gave my mom another painful squeeze and her eyes shut and she dropped to the ground, motionless, possibly dead.
     " Mom? Mom, mom, mom, MOM!!! " I screamed with my eyes filled with tears. My heart started to beat out of my chest and the air around me started to fade and it became very hard to breathe. I started having flashbacks about my mom and I, I remembered her taking me for my first day of school, her teaching me to ride a bike, her scolding me when I was failed a test, me consoling her when dad left and a lot of memories from the past. It was a nice trip down memory lane but what has happening at the moment hit me again. " You bastard! How dare you?!" I asked Constantine with my blood boiling, I was clenching my fists and my teeth so hard, I thought I was going to crack all my teeth. As I clenched my fists my claws started to dig into my skin my hands were filled with blood, but none of that seemed to bother me at that point, I was basically in beast mode. " What are you going to do about it little girl? " Constantine asked  while laughing, this just angered me more, I wanted to rip him apart! Then I started to feel a sudden burst of hate and immense power, the angrier I got the more power grew in me, Constantine stared at me in complete shock and confusion. Then the fur on my skin started to rise and a light blue aura started to form around my body and then my hair was lifted upwards and my muscles grew extremely large ripping off my clothes a little as my body grew larger. I felt like I just went Super Saiyan! ( dragon ball reference) as my power grew my feet broke into the ground and then with incredible speed I charged at Constantine landing a devastating blow to his abdomen. Constantine moaned in pain, at that point I didn't have full control of my actions, I went berserk! I attacked Constantine barely giving him any breathing space, I buried him with punches and kicks and then I gave Constantine such a painful blow that he bled out from him mouth. This angered Constantine more than anything, his blood red eyes gave me a cold stare and then with superhuman strength, he sent me flying about ten feet with a painful   punch to my face. I gotta admit that thing hurt! I had to readjust my jaw after that. Constantine looked at me with murder in his eyes, he had never been that angry before, he walked up to me and beat me up again, " you disrespectful and rude child! You dare hit me?!" he said while giving me the beating of a lifetime. I had calmed down a bit before but how effortlessly he was beating me up pissed me off so I went berserk again, this time even angrier than the last time.
     Constantine and I were in deep battle for minutes but then out of nowhere someone's leg kicked Constantine hard in the face. When I looked I was really happy, it was Jullian, he gave me his usual smile and then behind him Miranda and a lot of the others emerged. Jullian looked around and found my mom lying on the ground, " you don't have the right to do that! She has nothing to do with this, leave now! It's too early for war" Jullian told Constantine, " maybe you are right, but just keep it in mind that I will not rest until I have that crystal! Until I have all the crystals!" Constantine yelled before vanishing into thin air. The light blue aura around me vanished and I went back to my normal beast form, Jullian looked at me marvelled by the immense power he saw me possessing in my previous form. " MOM! " I remembered, I ran up to her and held her in my arms, " wake up " I begged her to as I started crying again. "  Can you help her? Can you heal her? Please? " I begged Jullian, he took a deep breath and said " fine, we'll help her out" he bent down and placed two of his fingers on my mom's neck, " good news, she still has a pulse" Jullian informed me. " Let's go" he said holding my mom in his hands, we finally reached the hideout, then he took my mom to the room he put me that other time and he started working his magic on her. " Is she gonna be alright? " I asked him " yes" he replied, " but there's one problem" he added " what? " I asked, " before she passed out, she probably saw what Constantine looked like, and you too. She's seen too much, we'll have to erase her memory of the last twenty four hours or so, well if you're okay with it" Jullian explained. " Well as far as you don't have to erase all her life memories then why not? " I told Jullian, " okay" he replied, " will it hurt her?" I asked, " no, but she might feel a little drowsy for at least a day" he explained.
     " Mara, I saw what happened out there. That power, it was.. I've never seen anything like that before. I probably haven't told you this but all werewolves of your type each hold a special power unique to them and it looks like I've found yours. But you'll have to learn how to work it out properly, so you'll need to come over here once in a while to train and spar with me" Jullian explained, " um,okay" I replied, " and also, Mara, I know this is the second time I'm asking but will you join us? Please we really need you " Jullian asked, I thought about it for a while. I really didn't think joining would help me in any way, I thought it would cause a lot of chaos considering the whole crystal thing, but I also really thought they would be able to help me out, maybe there was another way I could break the curse. So after some minutes I finally said, " yes" my words made Jullian so happy, he lifted me up in the air and spun me around, I giggled. Jullian informed the others and well a lot of them were happy, especially Miranda.
     Jullian successfully healed my mom, I was so happy. We moved her back to her house, she was still unconscious so quickly Miranda said a spell and some kinda magic dust circled around mom and then disappeared, so we left her on her couch and left. We went back to the hideout and talked for a while, finally it was 6:00 am and I turned back to human but that was when I realized that my clothes got really slacked when I went berserk so they stretched out of my size so when I turned back to human all of my clothes ( yes including my underwear) just fell off leaving me there naked in front of Jullian and Miranda. I felt the blood rush into my cheeks, I let out an extremely loud high pitched scream, I tried to cover up my body. Miranda screamed too and quickly grabbed a blanket and covered me, Jullian just stood there without moving, his face was completely pink, " you perv " Miranda hissed at him. After all that drama, I was given some clothes and I headed outside and was prepared to get back to school. I just stood outside and then all of a sudden something dropped on my head, I moved my hand around my hair and then I picked something up. A CRYSTAL!! I started doing a victory dance and made up a crazy song, " I got a crystal! And you don't have one!! Kiss my ass Constantine!!!" I sang hysterically. All my singing attracted Miranda outside, " what's going on? " she asked, " nothing! " I replied as I quickly put the crystal in my pocket. I realized that I had to keep this a secret from the others or it would cause a lot of chaos. I had finally made some progress, I couldn't wait to tell the girls!!
