A\N I know alot of you have been waiting for this. Enjoy!

"Are the two of you ready?" asked the lion in charged. "The sooner we get this over with, the better" Sefu replied. I just simply nodded. The lion turned around and gave the Pharaoh a signal before turning his attention back to us. The moment was tense and time had felt to slow down. The lion had retreated to the sidelines. Sefu was intent on staring me down as we waited for the Pharaoh's signal. I could see his firm grasp on the handle of his short sword turn his knuckles white with his applied pressure. He was like a trap ready to spring. The first move I should make, must be an evasive one.

ROAR! "Begin!!!" announced the Pharaoh.

Without sparing a moment, Sefu lunged while swinging his weapon. On just instincts, I dodged to the right and barely made it out of harm's way. Sefu didn't give me much time to strategize. He bounced back and thrusted his sword towards my torso. I swung my sword down to meet his and negate his attack. The tip of his sword planted into the ground, however he used this as leverage and performed a jump kick. He connected in the center of my chest and launched me away from him. Not only did this show his skill with a sword but also in hand to hand combat. My sword left my hand as I hit the ground and slid a few feet away from me. Sefu raced passed me to retrieve it. If I let his get that second sword, my chances of winning are going to be slim. I quickly picked myself up and ran after him. Sefu slide on the ground elegantly as he picked up the other sword and got back on his feet in one move. But he wasn't expecting to see me so close, so quick. I tackled him and latched on to his torso as the two of us fell down. Sefu dropped both weapons as his instincts told him to push me off instead. I held him down by his shoulder and threw some punches as he was left open in front of me. My fist had connected with his face twice before he managed to retaliate with a punch of his own. With dizziness filling my head for a second, Sefu had taken the chance to push me off. He turned to reach for the swords, but I had pulled him back by his ankles and scrambled to take them instead. I reached for one of the swords and took on by the guard. In the meantime, Sefu had retrieved the other one. Back to square one.

"You're lucky to still be standing. But no more nice guy from now on" he told me. Was he serious or was he just bluffing? He ran at me, blade ready to strike. I did the only thing I could think of, I threw my sword directly at him. My aim was to at least injure his legs enough where he can forfeit. My short sword flew through the air swiftly and barely missed his foot by an inch. Sefu mistook a step in order to dodge my attack and ended up losing his balance. Acting fast now that his guard was down, I grabbed his wrist that held his sword and swung him around. Taking his weapon, I launched him with a kick to his gut. He held his gut in pain, as I went to retrieve the other sword. At this standpoint, I had the advantage yet I lacked the proper experience to even use the swords correctly. If I can dispose of them, then the battle would be fair and nobody had to be killed. I looked around for anything to rid me of the weapon, but there was nothing. The walls of the arena were too high, roughly about 30 feet or more, and I couldn't possibly throw them into the audience. I looked at her. If I could get these swords to her, she could make sure they don't make their way back into the battle. But if I couldn't throw that high, I'd have to think of something else. The walls, however did look old and were probably soft enough to pierce with metal. The throwing physics of the sword will greatly vary from any other weapons I've used before. I have to give it shot. I could see Sefu stand back up, I had to try now. I shoved one sword into my phasor holster, the sharp blade pierced the fabric but held secure enough. Then, I started to run in her direction. I could see her stand as she looked down at me.

Your POV

What was he exactly planning? Does he think you could help him? Behind him you could see Sefu chase after him. Spock had a pretty good lead though and he was quick on his feet. You saw Spock ready the sword in his hand. Was he going to throw it to you! Does he know how dangerous that is! Well, duh. He was accurate with a phasor, but you weren't so sure with a sword. Spock launched the weapon best he could. The force of the throw made it plant into the wall about quarter way up. Well so much for keep the weapon safe with you. At least Sefu couldn't use it anymore. It did put Spock at a bigger disadvantage though. Spock took out the other sword and did the same. If the swords were out of sight, then they were out of mind. Spock slammed into the wall to break his sprint, just in time to meet Sefu face to face again.

Spock POV

"Getting rid of the weapons? Smart thinking. But you should know, these people want me to win. So..." Sefu pulled out a hidden dagger, "I have privileges" he told me. All that effort had gone to waist. Not only daggers were smaller, they were quicker as well. Sefu came at me and attempted to hold me still so he could thrust his weapon. I dodged his grab and went to counter and disarm him. However, he saw it coming and my right bare hand was introduced to his dagger. The blades sliced open the skin of my palm and my blood came out willingly. The cut stung and was deep. I gave the two of us some space so I could fight the pain. "That's only one cut out of the many you'll receive" Seu taunted. I clenched my cut hand, the pressure causing my blood to spill out. I wasn't going to lose this battle. I didn't plan to. "One small cut doesn't mean victory for you" I told him. I personally think, the blood shed just added another spike of adrenaline into my body.

The fight continued. With the adrenaline dulling the pain in my hand, I decided there was no more time to be on the defensive. It was obviously not going to let me win. An idea went off into my head, as I looked around at the sand underneath me. Why didn't I think of this before? If I could get sand into his eyes, not only will he be blind but it would also hurt and would give me the seconds I would need to knock him out. I must first get him to attack and leave himself open. I'll have to fake an attack. I tensed my muscled and ran at him. He looked surprised but he then fell for my bluff and charged at me as well. When he was running at a good rate, I faked him out and fell downwards into an almost sitting position on purpose. The tactic threw Sefu off guard and his ended stumbling over his own two feet as he tried to halt. I quickly scooped up as much sand as I could in both hands and spun around. I flung the sand into his eyes as soon as I could see his face. It worked. The sand flooded his senses. Now blinded, Sefu desperately tried to rub the sand out of his eyes. I quickly took the dagger from him and tossed it far away before adding further to his confusing and head-butting him head to head. I was dizzy for a moment, but I continued my assault. For some reason I felt as if I was going too far. I kneed him in the gut a few times and punched him as well. I saw blood drip out from his nose and I raised my fist once again to strike. However, I felt something tell me 'no more'. I lowered my clenched fist and threw the now unconscious Vulcan on the ground. The battle was nowdone.

I could feel the pain slowly increase throughout my body. I feel down to my knees to catch my breathe.

"Mister Spock has won the match!" announced the lion. The crowd sounded satisfied despise Sefu loosing. From afar I saw her drop down over the wall, using the implanted swords to help her descend safely. Despite, still in a dress she ran across the arena to me. She fell to her knees and pulled my close. Her breathing was heavy from running but also from tears as she began to cry. I could feel a similar reaction inside me. She lifted me up to my feet, "Let's get you all clean up Spock" she smiled as tears of joy still fell down his cheeks. It took me a moment to notice, I was smiling too. She took my hand to lead me away.

"SPOCK BEHIND YOU!"

A sudden pain shot up my body. My muscles tensed as I almost went into shock. She turned around and her face had horror written all over it.

"Always so serious Spock. You see, I can play tricks too"
