Note: Don't be fooled by the picture this isn't all four hokage fighting. It was orginally just the hokages on the momement but I wanted to update the artwork for each chapter. This was the was the closest I could find.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a rewrite of the original story.

Uta p.o.v

"Kakashi"

I was standing in front of a pile of dead bodies stacked up behind me. With Kakashi standing in front of me, my clothes stained with blood, but my eyes stained with tears. He looked straight at me his eyes looking hurt. His mask pulled up. I tried to take his hand to say something. He sighed looking straight at me. "Uta why to think you would stoop this low. To kill Obito clan why was it for him", he asked pointing to Itachi who was standing by my side.

"Kakashi it isn't what you think it is", I told him.

"So you haven't helped Itachi kill Obito family", he asked sarcastically.

"Kakashi please let me explain. You once promise me that you would do anything for me. So can you at least listen?"

"No, Uta. You once said to me would always be by my side but did that mean nothing to you? Was that a lie to you? Did the promise you made to Obito and Rin mean nothing to you? Did our relationship mean nothing to you? Do I mean nothing to you", he asked as he stood there looking as if he was about to cry. I reached out to take his hand. Seeing him like this was breaking my heart. I hated to see him like this but I had no choice.

"Kakashi I didn't mean for you to see and believe it wasn't my idea,'' I started. Before he gave a cold glare.

"Uta stop it we are over", he stated coldly. Before getting to leave I wanted to go after him. But I couldn't not until I finished up my killings. While Itachi went to his home to finish up his mission. Afterward while he went to report to the Minato-sensei and Third Hokage that the mission had been a success. I made my way toward the apartments of almost everyone (starting with Sasuke who was still knocked out) to erase their memories of me just like the elders had told me to do the day before. By the time I reached Kakashi apartment the last one, the sun was starting dawn over the sky. I opened the door with the key he had given me so long ago. Walking into his room to see him sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help but smile. To think that the cold blood copy ninja looks this defenseless when he sleeps I thought. I ruffled his messy hair once last time. Touching his head softly searching through his memories of me buring each and every one of them until I reached the last one and buried it. I smiled a sad smile pulled his mask up and kissed his lips then said: "Know this Kakashi in your heart I will always love you". Then without another word left before he could wake up. I had closed his apartment door. I felt my eyes awaken something new. I quickly grabbed the remainder of my things and was walking out of my apartment. The morning sun greeting me when I walked out of my apartment for the last time. I began to make my way toward the meeting place lord third had mentioned. As the morning began to dawn over the village. I made my way out to the old training ground toward the KIA stone to see Minato-sensei standing there. He was smiling a sad smile.

"This brings back memories doesn't is Uta", he asked? I smiled a sad smile.

"Yes, Obito, Rin, you, Kakashi, and me. We were all a team 7 or Team Minato and now here we all", I said he nodded a sad smile still on his face.

"I'm sorry you had to do that to Obito family"

"It's fine Lord Fourth. Everything went smoothly"

"You shouldn't have had to do that"

"It's fine there was no other way," I said seeing his sad smile. I was about to say something when he handed me a scroll.

"Uta Itachi already left to join a group that was created by some of Jiraiya former students called the Akakaski"

I bowed to him. "What will be my mission then Lord Fourth"

"Uta your mission will be to watch over the sand village jinchuriki. I have already made prepares for your arrival. But again it's your choice whether you want to accept this mission or not"

"You are giving me a chance to be able to stay a shinobi. I will be glad to serve to thank you Lord Fourth", I said before I was about to leave he pulled me into a hug.

"Bye, Uta," he said and waved.

"Bye Minato-sensei", I said my bag still on my shoulder. Making my way to the gates and was walking out but not before taking one last look at the village before walking away from it not looking back.

*Now*

I was standing at the village gates a bag slung over my shoulder making my way to the gates. The morning sun dawing over the village just as it had been the day I left. I made my way toward the Hokage office my bag still slung over my shoulder sneaking in before anyone could see me. I opened the door and stepped into the office to see Minato-sensei sitting at the desk. He smiled at me.

"Welcome back Uta. I'm sorry I had to call you back"

"It's fine Minato-sensei", I said before digging into my bag to pull out the scroll about my mission. I told him about everything that had happened from the time about the sand jinchuriki father trying to kill to other matters. Minato-sensei flipped through the papers before setting them down.

"Now, that you are back in the village. Would you like your old apartment back", he asked?

"Yes, I missed the old place"

"How about your rank? Do you want to remain an anbu or be a joniun and teach alongside Kakashi", he asked. Causing me to be surprised.

"Kakashi is leading a team of geniun. That seems unlike him"

"Well until this year a single team hadn't passed his test. Recently my son Naruto along with Itachi brother Sasuke and Sakura Haruno managed to pass his test. They should be reporting in from their recent mission at the land of waves an A-ranked mission"

"Oh"

"You don't have to if you don't want to Uta"

"What if he remembers me through", I asked?

"How about you think it over and early tomorrow you can tell me what you think okay", Minato-sensei suggested. I gave a nod to him and walk out of his office making my way to the old training ground to have some time to think. Making my way down the familiar streets I had once known all my life.
