Minato p.o.v

I have dug myself into deep shit I thought as Kakashi walked into my office. "Minato-sensei if I may ask what that was about", Kakashi asked?

"Uta was just telling me about her ex who is trying to seduce her. Sending her notes even after she broke up with him. He has been interfering with her work", I lied through my teeth. Uta had motioned me to the door earlier and I caught a brief glimpse of Kakashi before he went out of sight. I knew what he was trying to do. This was making me regret pairing them on the same team. "Speaking of which Kakashi I think it would be best if I assigned Uta to a new group under these circumstances. I mean this ex of Uta may cause us even more trouble if he finds that Uta is working with another man. And the both of us would rather deal with this quietly and without iccident if we can", I lied again.

"But the kids love her. They would devastated if she left the squad. Isn't there anything I can do", Kakashi asked seeming to buy the lie. I am really dig myself a bigger hole then I already have. What would Kushina say if she saw me now I wondered missing Kushina who had died in the nine tails attack when Naruto was born leaving me a single father. She would probably punch my lights out and kill me for this I responded before being snapped back into reality.

"For now it would be best if you and Uta weren't seen together. The kids on the other hand perhaps. But Kakashi under no circumstances are you to try to find and try to hurt him anyway. If you do we might have to deal with an internal affair with the hidden sand"

Kakashi let out a loud groan before nodding yes. "I suppose I can do that", he said before going out the door to leave. It seems I am going to have to call in a favor I thought making a clone to see if I could still catch Itachi before he got too far out of sight. I barely managed to catch him as I explained everything to him.

"So let me get this straight you tracked me down just so I could come back to the leaf. All to make Kakashi think that Uta has a fake boyfriend just to keep him away from the fact that she removed his memories", he asked.

"Yes"

"Just making sure I had it all right", Itachi said before letting out a sigh before agreeing. to the deal. Seeing as it gave him a chance to see Sasuke after all this time. I teleported to Uta apartment before telling her everything as we planned to make the lie I had told Kakashi real. And we didn't have much time to do so. As we got ready to set our plan into motion. Hopefully this would be the last time I would have to do this. But who knows what will happen. All I can do is try to do my best to ensure this doesn't get any worse then it already is.
