Valentine Special

A/N: Sorry that this late but it took a while to think of something for this. Told from third p.o.v of course. Charecter will be a bit OOC considering I am not used to them like this so bear with me.

It was supposed to be like any other day in the village hidden in the leaves. Except it wasn't because it was Valentines Day. For once a good number of the shinboi were off. And those who were on missions were for the most part loners who wanted to avoid being around on that day. Or those like Gai who believed in the power of youth. Either way for the Leaf Village Valentines Day was a big day. With dozen of romantic proposals and gestures being done through out the village. But for Kakashi it had been a day of loneliness a day that reminded him of all that he had lost. In a matter of years he lost his father, his sensei, and his team mates. Not only that but every day on this year he always feel as if he is missing something. It doesn't help that all day he has to watch as all the couples are smiling and being romantic. While he felt like shit. So each Valentines Day he would get drunk and have a one night stand. With some random person it didn't matter what gender they were. On that day Kakashi didn't care all he wanted was someone to be with him. Even if it was someone he barely knew it was better then being alone. That had been until he had Uta. Never had Kakashi known such happiness. He never knew what it was like to have someone there for him. Just for him because he had gotten used to one night stands. Where both people didn't have feelings for one another and just needed to release their desires. Kakashi loved Uta with all of his heart and she loved him. But he really didn't see that in full effort at least that wasn't until Valentines Day.

It had been like every other day. Kakashi had come home to Uta the night before like he always did and they did what normal couples do. The next morning Kakashi was woken up by the bright sunlight streaming through the curtains. He woke up his shirt off and looked to the other side of him. Instead of seeing Uta sleeping beside him as she usual did. She was gone. Kakashi panicked and frantically searched the apartment to find no traces of Uta. He thought she had left him. That was until he found a note on the table near the bed.

Dear Kakashi,

I am sure you are panicking right now wondering where I am. Because that's the type of person you are. Not to worry I didn't leave you. But I thought why not have some fun and send you on a hunt through out the village so you might find me. So I hide three clues with a couple of people through out the village. You have to go through them to find me. But here is your first clue. I used to be in a place full of lively hood and cheer now turned into a cold place. Where few remain where am I? Other then that good luck Kakashi I hope you can find me.

Kakashi thought for a moment I used to be in a place full of lively hood and cheer now turned into a cold place. Where few remain where am I? he thought and repeated a few times. Until finally the answer hit him. "Of course why didn't I think of it before the Uchiha distract", he exclaimed before racing to the distract in order to find the next clue. Once he arrive he saw Itachi standing there alone.

"Let me guess you are here for your next clue?"

Kakashi nodded as Itachi pulled out a paper. Before handing it to Kakashi.

Dear Kakashi,

Your next clue lies with two people who have the both of us with discovering a certain truth. Who are they?

It didn't take long for Kakashi to figure out the answer. Easy Misaki and his boyfriend he thought before he held his hand up for body flicker justu. After a few transports he finally managed to find the couple. Sharing a very intense moment. "Seriously Kakashi we were sharing a rather private moment", Kaoru said not happy that he and Misaki moment had been ruined.

"Love remember we agreed to help Uta with her hunt", Misaki reminded him.

"We did?"

"Yes"

"I was kinda of too busy"

"Too busy doing what may I ask", Misaki asked?

"I don't think you want me to say in front of company"

"Tell me", Misaki insisted. Kaoru whispered something into Misaki ear causing Misaki to go red before handing Kakashi a note. Kakashi didn't want to know what they were talking about. He thought best not to ask.

Dear Kakashi,

Congrats you have found the second clue only one clue remaining after this one. You shouldn't have much trouble with this one. This is the only other person who taught you something that you will never forget? Who is he?

Normally Kakashi would think but he had a feeling if he did while in front of Misaki and Kaoru. He might see something he could never unsee so he body flicked to another area away from the couple to the training ground. Kakashi took a seat on the stump and thought long and hard. Who could it be alot of people have taught him alot of different things. But soon it was down to two people Minato-sensei taught him the value of teamwork and Obito who taught him to never abandon a comrade. Kakashi had been sitting for a while. Trying to think of which one it would be. What Uta would choose. Hmmmm she would normally choose the harder one or she might choose the easy one to screw with me. Sounds like her he thought with a chuckle. When Obito was walking around the training ground. " Man this brings back alot of memories", Obito said with a smile.

Kakashi smiled a smile he only reserve to the people close to him. "Yeah it was you, me, Uta, Rin, and Minato-sensei"

"Yeah Team Minato", Obito said with a reminiscing look.

"You know Obito I don't know if I ever told you this. But that lesson you taught me that day has always stuck with me"

"Well I am happy it did", Obito said with a smile. Before pulling out a note. "By the way Uta gave me this note for some reason", he said before handing the note to Kakashi. To which Kakashi gladly took it.

Dear Kakashi,

You either got this note on your own or Obito being Obito forgot I told him not to hand it to you. Until you asked him for it neitherless you have the note. Now for your final clue. This is where it all began our history with each other. Where am I?

It didn't take long for Kakashi to figure the answer out. After thanking Obito he body flicked one last time. Before he was standing in front of the Ninja Academy. With Uta smiling. "It took you long enough geez", she said with a sigh. Before she handed Kakashi a bouquet of white lilies. "Happy Valentines Day Kakashi", she said with a faint blush on her face. To which Kakashi smiled. "Sorry I couldn't make you chocolates but I didn't know how long you would take and I", she started before Kakashi kissed her. Causing her to go silent. After parting Uta face was red.

"Uta you are all I ever need. Just having you is enough for me"

Uta went even more red if that was even possible. Before she whispered something into his ear to which Kakashi took her hand and they body flickered back home. Spending the rest of the day with each other.

A/N: I thought since you are probably used to romantic I thought for something more lighthearted then that. Less romantic and more scavenger hunt. I still hoped you enjoyed it.
