I had called a meeting of the root secretly without Hiruzen and Minato knowning. After all they had sent me on probation after that accident with the Uchiha massacre. I had heard rumors of Itachi paying a visit to Uta. I had been planning to eliminate Itachi while he was still in the village. Yet he had managed to escape before I could gather enough root after him. Luckily for me from the rumors of the root I had sent to watch Uta to insure nobody finds about that I was the true mastermind of the Uchiha massacre. What with her feelings for Kakashi Hatake. When I heard of their plan to make a fake mission if I were to use the chance then I could kill the only two who stood in the way of the Uchiha massacre secret coming out. As soon as I got the details of their plan I sent out an award for the duo of Kaoru and Misaki I had heard about. Yet in the end they failed and Uta had seemed to take them under her wing. I needed to get another plan in motion. "We can't allow this to continue if things continue going this way. Soon the truth of what happened during the Uchiha massacre will be revealed. Luckily for me Uta and her team seemed to travel slow with the reports from the Root, the speed I can go, and be not needing alot of sleep. I had finally managed to catch up to them. We hadn't been spotted and stayed out of sight. Uta had been carrying Itachi who in disguise and was sleeping. Had gone ahead and we weren't far for them as I issued my orders to the root. The closest to them was the gay couple Misaki and Lee. Soon everything will go my way I thought as I prepared my attack against them.
