March 12th 1864: England
"It's a girl!" said the Gwen and lay my newborn daugther in my arms. I stroked her cheek and smiled softly. "I'll name you Elizabeth!" I replied.

My husband came in with a smile. "Isn't she beautiful?" I asked. His smile faded and his eyes were filled with hatred.
"She's not my child!" said Henry coldly. "How can you say so?" I asked shocked. "I hope the baby dies!" he said.
"You wanted kids!" I said. "I wanted another boy, not a daughter!" he replied and stormed out.
Liz began crying. I comforted her. "Mother love you so much. I will always love you, I promise!" I said and kissed her on the forehead.

Adam's: POV
I was playing with my little sister. She was laughing of joy and she had a happy smile on her face. I don't understand why father doesn't like her.

"I'll always protect you!" I said. Liz smiled and gave me a hug. "I will never let you down, that's a promise!" I said.
I was singing a lullaby for her and she fell asleep in my arms. "Dream sweet dreams!" I whispered.
