"Look Clark there's something laying on our doorstep." A woman pointed at the thing laying there. Both of them stepped closer to the door and carefully picked up the thing.
"Its a baby." Both of them looked at each other and then back at the baby. "What should we do? We can't just leave it here." Clark looked at the baby and then at Vanessa. "But what if there's someone searching for it?"
"Would they leave it here if they would be searching for it?" Clark fell silent. "Is it a boy?" Vanessa gently lifted a blanket. "No. A girl," she said and placed the blanket back. "What will we name her?" Vanessa's eyes lit up at his words. "Are you sure? A baby means a lot of responsibility," she looked at him with worry in her eyes. "I know."
After they went inside they sat down on a couch.
"So, know the name?"
"I'll let you pick it out," she said and placed a girl in his arms.
A girl looked at him with hazel, almost light orange kinda eyes.
"We're naming you Lilly."
