Welcome one, welcome all

Edit: for some reason, when I view this imagine in reader view, the writing has glitched for me and is all werid. If this is happening to you, I apologize but it is nothing that I'm able to fix, as going into edit mode, the writing seems as normal. It may just be me and my phone though, but let me know if yours is the same. Or maybe I'm just going crazy...

Hey!

So, I'm back after only one day but I started this imagine last night and finished it just before. I haven't done an imagine like this before but I really love it and I'm so excited to finish it later tonight.

Hopefully part two will be out later tonight as well.

Picking off a fluffy clump of pink cotton candy, I place the sweet substance onto my tongue as the sugar dissolves. Murmuring with delight, I take another bite as my dad finishes paying for our treats.

"Okay." He begins, taking a break to take a large bite of his multicoloured cotton candy cloud. "The game plan." I nod, our prior conversation before we left for the town fair coming to mind. "You go off with your friends but you'll be back here, at this cotton candy stand, at nine." I roll my eyes again.

"Nine, dad? Really? Ten." I retort, arching an eyebrow.
"Nine-thirty." He replies. I smile and offer him my hand as he shakes his head with a laugh.
"Deal." Shaking my hand, I give him a hug goodbye for him to remind me of his instructions once again. Saying my goodbye, I make my way through the fair with my cotton candy nestled in my hand.

Continuing to pick off small amounts of the sweet treat, I spy my friends on the boardwalk. Hurrying over, they notice me approaching and greet me with smiles and cheesy cheers. Hugging them both, I offer them some of my cotton candy.

"So, to fill you in." Begins Mack, one of my two best friends. Her black curly hair has been tied back into a bun, though a few short, curly strands still frame her face. Her tan skin has shimmer on her cheekbones as her eyes are covered with black liner that elongate her eyes. She looked gorgeous, like usual. "We've decided to go on the ferris wheel now while the sun is setting and then we're going to play that duck shooting game."

"I can't argue with that!" I say with a wide smile.
"This is so good. Can I, just." Rina, my second but still incredibly important best friend takes the cotton candy out of my hand as she continues to devour it. Her two toned hair of brown and pink has been left down with a slight curl. Her face is bare but her lips has been glossed over that make her lips appear plumper.

"Hey, don't eat it all." Mack gently hits her hand that reaches for another piece of the candy. As Rina recedes her hand, Mack takes a piece with a hungry smile. "I never get the chance to get food like this." She says as he places the sugary food into her mouth, reaching for another bite.

"Are you're parent's still on that healthy eating plan?" I question as Mack sighs heavily, nodding her head with sad approval.
"Unfortunately. I mean, it's not all bad. My mum makes great fruit smoothies but other than that, food like this that contains artificial sugar is simply a dream, until right now." She eats another piece as she closes her eyes, savoury the long awaited treat.

"Well, I'll make a mental note to get you both your own once we're done." I say, looking to the now empty paper cone that once had cotton candy spun over top.
Rina frowns at the finished treat before discarding it in the bin.
"Let's go then." Rina says sadly. Laughing, I loop my arm with her's and my other with Mack as we head towards the towering ferris wheel in the distance.
