Hello my dear readers!!

I am finally back with a new imagine. Now, I at first had a plan for this imagine but as I was writing, things began to drift (like they usually do) and now the ending part of the imagine is very different to what I usually do.

But, hopefully you guys like it.

As my hair stylist adjusts the 'messy' bun at the nape of my neck, I let out another nervous and heavy sigh, my trembling hands running over the embroidered red ballgown I had the pleasure of wearing.

"I still don't know if I can do this!" I exclaim for the hundredth time this evening. I look to my manager in the mirror who continues to text away hurriedly on his phone. But knowing him, he had one ear listening. "It's pointless to mingle with all these celebrities when I'm not even considered an influencer." My manager scoffs and I arch an eyebrow.

"Sweetheart, how many times do I have to tell you this?" For once in the last year or so of knowing him, he puts down his phone and gives me his complete attention. "If you weren't 'somebody', you wouldn't have gotten an invitation to one of the most prestigious parties of the year.

"People love you and they want to see more of you. Plus." He sweeps himself across the room to admire my appearance, the light glaring in his designer glasses. "This gives you a chance to get connections on the inside. Tell people who you are. Why you're there. Make people fall in love with you. I'll be doing the same but," he offers a gentle smile. "I'm not you, am I?"

Smiling, I bashfully look away and glance down at my gown once again as my heart thumps.

"Let's do this."

Carefully getting out of the black SUV, I'm greeted with the sea of flashing lights. I emerge with a gleaming smile and a sweep of my designer gown.

One of the security guards shuts the door behind me as I smile at the awaiting cameras. Looking over my shoulder, I offer poses I knew would look good plastered over social media.

For a few minutes I stop and bask in the spotlight before more celebrities begin to make their debut on the carpet. Getting whisked away into the lavish country side mansion basked in the golden glow of the setting sun, I let out a deep breath once I was behind closed doors.
