Your POV,

I finish up doing my black cat eyeliner. I straighten my lace black cat ears, and fix my curled hair. I smile one last time in the mirror before grabbing my bag and rushing out the door. Greeted by kids wanting candy.

"Just knock." I say walking past them. They all smile and practically super speed to the door. I see my friend Y/F/N walking up the street towards my house. I run up to her and hug her tightly.

"So, I was thinking, we could ditch trick-or-treating and go to the super hot party tonight?" She says the last part with a high pitched tone, also with puppy eyes.

"A www, but the candy." I say pouting my lip, gesturing to the little kids already tearing into their candy.

"Fine, one hour, then the party. Deal?" She says holding out her hand.

"Deal." I say shaking it. We link arms and go around the houses, yelling trick or treat. We judged and critiqued other costumes. Y/F/N was dressed up a cat as well, we were twining it this year.

"Omg, someone dressed up like Shawn Mendes. Looks real though." She says. I squint at the person then gasp in shock.

"That's because it's real. That's Shawn Mendes!" I say. He hears us and looks around anxiously. Then glares at us.

"Okay, I don't think you were meant to scream it." She says. He starts running towards us.

"Run!" I squeal. We start running and we end up in front of a haunted house.

"We'll lose him in here." Says Y/F/N. We run in and I trip on something on the way. Y/F/N didn't notice and kept going. I look back and see Shawn running towards me. I squeal and hurriedly get up. I keep running through the haunted house and end up at a dead end. I turn around to run back but stop to see Shawn standing there.

"Seriously April! April?" He says standing so close to me I could feel his breath.

"I'm not April." I say.

"Shit, I just realised. I'm sorry, your probably going to tell people and get it featured on the news and magazines that I'm a cruel person. I'm not though. That wasn't me, well it was. I'm sorry I was angry with April-"

"Shawn. It's okay. I get it. Plus i wouldn't do that to you. Your to cute for me to be cruel." I say walking past him. I look over my shoulder and he's watching me with a smile. I walk out the front of the house and wait for Y/F/N.

I sit on the curb, my head in my hands. I didn't bring my phone, nor did she so...

"Hey." I look up and see Shawn sit down next to me.

"Hey." I say looking away.

"You okay?" He says resting a hand on my arm.

"Fine. It's just, your Shawn Mendes. I'm in love with you, yet I'm not freaking out." I suddenly realise what I just said.

"Oh, your in love with me?" He says chuckling. I feel my cheeks turn red.

"Maybe I might love you in the future. How about a date and I can decide?"

"A date! Really?" I say laughing.

"Yeah, why not."

"Okay." I say. His eyes glisten in the moonlight. The night was peaceful and amazing. Surround by kids loving all the candy and Halloween festivities. Yet no one knew that Shawn Mendes just asked me out.

"By the way. Who's April?" I say laughing. He shakes his head as he looks away embarrassed.
