Unfortunately this is UNEDITED due to me being lazy and tired and since it's now late. My apologies but I will edit it tomorrow, sorry if the mistakes bother you. I assure you I can spell, I just type very fast and my phone can't keep up with me.

Recap (since it's been awhile): You met the new guy Shawn, a lover of music with an angelic voice. You accidentally tell Aaron you don't have any feelings for him and simply view him as a friend. And so, Shawn offers you to spend the day with him, to forget your worries for a little bit as you spend your time at the arcade.

Part Four

The arcade was empty. Which wasn't a surprise. A few games have their music playing with flashing neon lights welcoming the next player. The carpet was an array of geometric shapes of different sizes and colours.

Walking in side by side with Shawn, smiles on our lips and buzzing with excitement, Shawn leads me over to a game.

"This right here is the ultimate classic." I look to the game we've approached and laugh softly as I recognise the face of the game.
"Pac-man." I say with a soft laugh as Shawn fishes in his pocket for coins. He slots the amount in and the game boots up.

"Watch and learn." He begins to play, clearly knowing what he's doing as he expertly navigates the maze and avoiding the ghosts determined to end his game. As he continues to play, I look up at his face to see him heavily focused; his eyebrows hunched and his tongue slightly sticking out of his lips.

"Ah, fuck." He curses as he shakes his head and steps away from the game. I look to the screen, seeing the large bold letters stating that Shawn lost the game as I stifle a laugh.

"At least you gave it a shot." I say, giving him a reasurring smile as he laughs. He nods to another game and I happily follow. As I take in what we're going to play next, I stop short when I realise it's a dancing game. "Shawn, no, I do not dance." Defensively I put my hands up, shaking my head as Shawn continues to nod, reaching for my hand.

"Yes, you do. Come on." He takes my hand and softly pulls me along. Seeing how hesitant I was about playing the game, he pouts his lips and furrows his eyebrows. "Please." I scoff and shake my head.
"Puppy dog eyes don't work on me, Mendes." At my words, he sighs and rolls his eyes. He lets go of my hands and folds his arms over his chest with a smirk. I arch my eyebrows curiously. "What?" I question.

"If you win, I'll give you twenty bucks. And if you lose, you only have to give me five." I raise my eyebrows at that and smile widely.
"Game on." Shawn returns my wide smile and we take our positions on the dance mats. Shawn goes to pay the small fee but I stop him. "You payed for the last one. Let me." I go to get out my wallet but Shawn quickly slots in the money as I arch my eyebrows at him.
