Can you forgive me?

Your POV

"Shawn how could you!" You yell. Shawn was pacing the room. You notice he was holding back tears.

"I didn't do anything wrong!?" He yelled back.

"You kissed her Shawn....you kissed her. After everything we've gone through" you sat quietly. Letting a few more tears fall down your face.

"I'm really, really sorry. Look okay I know I did something wrong but...."

"But nothing! I'm sorry Shawn but you said you loved me and for you to do this.....I just.  I can't, I'm sorry Shawn"

"What do you mean?" Asked Shawn walking up to you.

"We're over". Tears fell down his face but you walk away into the kitchen. But when you walked in you couldn't stop thinking about the memories you had.

Like on your birthday, Shawn tried making you breakfast but he burned it, waking you up with the smell of smoke and the smoke alarms going off.

Running downstairs helping him as much as possible. In the end you both ditched breakfast and went out to get pancakes.

You cry more at that memory and run up stairs, seeing Shawn on his knees crying. You felt heart broken but you knew it was for the best.

You grab your pink suitcase, the one Shawn got for you. You pack your things and accidentally knock one of Shawn's shoe boxes down. It fell open and revealed pictures of you two together. The keychain you got for him from Australia. But there was something else.

There was a small red velvet box. You gasp and open in. Inside was a ring.

"Oh no, what did I do?" You say quietly.

"I was saving that for you" says Shawn. You don't say anything.

"But I ruined it. The whole thing. I was drunk okay. I thought the girl was you. But after I realised you left for Bali with your friends. I was dreading the day I would tell you. Y/N I'm sorry. Really I am".

"You didn't say you were drunk" you say packing up the shoe box.

"You didn't let me finish. Look I love you, a lot. Will, um... Can you forgive me?"

"Even if we're not together anymore" he continued.

"Shawn, I, I love you too. Look I'll stay, it'll just take time for me to forgive you" you say, standing up to face him.

"I understand" he says leaning in to kiss you. You let him even though you know you'll probably forgive him after the kiss. Because every time you kiss, you fall in love with him, all over again.
