Timeskip to back at the Hotel

Sean's POV

I still can't believe that she had yes. She's mine. What is my life? How in the hell had I managed to persuade that gorgeous woman to be my girlfriend?

"Sean?" Melody asked, pulling me from my thoughts. I glanced at her, wondering what she wanted.

"Are you ok?" She asked, confused.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" I have you.

"Well, you were staring off into space, and while I'd expect that from Mark, you didn't seem ok. You sure you're ok?"

"I promise you, Clover, I am just fine."

"Hey, you finally came up with your own nickname for me," Melody laughed.

"Can you two stop being so Goddamn adorable?" Mark asked, almost annoyed.

"You're the one who said I should have made a move when we first met Mel," I shot back.

"Wait, really?" Melody asked, amazed.

"He said it caused him pain to watch you leave the first night we met you so I said he should make a move. I'm a fucking great matchmaker," Mark explained and I looked at Melody, trying to gauge her emotions. Unfortunately, she had a pretty good poker face.

"It hurt you to watch me leave that night?" She asked after a minute.

"Yeah..." I trailed off, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Awwww, Sean! Why didn't you say something?" She asked, looking into my soul with those gorgeous, contacted eyes.

"Because I had just met you and it seemed weird to be so interested in you right away. I didn't want to scare you off."

"Aww, Shamrock! That's so sweet," She smiled softly.

"You're not upset?"

"No, I'm not. How could I be?"

"You two are going to give me cavities," Mark rolled his eyes.

"Oh no! Mark, how will you ever survive without your perfect smile?" Melody asked, incredibly dramatic.

"My smile is not perfect," Mark countered, a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, it is," I said.

"Mark, I'm pretty sure you have murdered several fangirls with your smile alone. Trust me, I have almost been one of those fangirls," Melody told him.

"Seriously?" Mark asked.

"Yes, seriously. I die a little on the inside every time you smile."

"Jack, are you hearing this?"

"Yup. And she's right because I too have almost fallen victim to your smile."

"Guys! Shut up!" Mark screamed, totally embarrassed.

"I think we embarrassed him," Melody whispered to me.

"I think you're right," I whispered back.

"Can we change the subject now?" Mark whined.

"To what?" I laughed.

"I have an idea!" Melody piped in.

"Oh really, what?" I asked.

"Take a guess," Melody grinned, a glint in her eye.

"Jump in a pool of mustard?" I took a wild guess.
