Jack's POV

"I am so sorry, I didn't know he was such a fanboy," I laughed as we got in the elevator.

"It's fine. A little surprising, but it's fine."

"I hope he didn't scare you off."

"Please, he was tame compared to some of the fans I've met," She laughed as we got off the elevator and started walking down the street.

"That was tame?"

"Yes. Yes, it was."

"I'm having trouble believing that."

"You, Jacksepticeye, are having trouble believing that that was tame?" She questioned, disbelief in her eyes.

"...Yes...?"

"Then our fanbases are completely different my friend."

"It would appear so," I agreed, "So what are you going to do when you get back?"

"Probably show my friends my nerdy trinkets and then write until I pass out at my laptop," She confessed.

"You really like writing, don't you?" I smiled.

"Yeah. It's been my life since I was like, 12. It makes me happy," She shrugged.

"Well, something has to make you happy."

"Yeah, considering I'm alone in life, besides my friends. I'm quite the recluse."

"So am I," I laughed softly.

"Mmmh, no you're right. 21 million subscribers aren't nearly enough to keep someone from being lonely," She joked.

"I mean that I don't see people face to face often. I'm always recording."

"I get it. I've sold over half a billion copies of my book, but I never see people except for when I go on tour to promote said book."

"Half a billion?!" I exclaimed. She looked at the ground.

"Holy shit. You are famous," I said, surprised.

"I'm letters on a page. Not that important or impressive."

"Except it is. Even Pewds doesn't have that many subscribers. Half a billion books sold, Jesus. No wonder Mark was so insistent."

"I guess. Anyway, this is it." I looked up and saw we had indeed made it to another hotel.

"Do you have to go?"

"Yeah, I do," She made a sad face and my heart broke.

"Well, give me your phone. And text me?"

"Sure, but only if I can give you my number," She said, fishing out her phone. We switched phones, putting in the numbers before handing the phones back.

"I'll see you around, Jack," She said with a smile as she went inside.

"See you," I said sadly as she walked away. Why am I so hung up on her I felt my phone vibrate in my hand and hoped it was from her. It wasn't.

Markimoo- Did you make it to her hotel?

Jackaboy- Yeah. It hurt to watch her leave though.

Markimoo- Dude, you really like her, don't you?

Jackaboy- What gave it away?

Markimoo- You just said it hurt to watch her leave. You're head over heels, dude.

Jackaboy- I didn't expect to like a fan so much.
