Sheriff Keller walked into the waiting room where the five teenagers sat. "How's your dad doing?" Keller asked.
"He's still in surgery." Betty said. Keller nodded and then looked towards Archie.
"Archie, i know this is a hell of a time for you, but maybe we could go somewhere and talk about what happened?" He asked. Mila nudged Jughead's arm and nodded towards Archie and Keller.
"Mind if i come?"
"Actually, Jughead, if you don't min-"
"Yeah, that'd be great." Archie nodded. Sheriff Keller huffed and then nodded. The three walked off and Mila sighed, she leaned back in her chair, She heard the scrap of chairs being moved and she looked up to see Betty and Veronica sitting in front of her.
"Spill." Veronica beamed.
"Spill what?" Mila asked confused.
"The reason you and Jughead are holding hands and the reason you two kissed." Betty said, crossing her arms over her chest with a smirk. It had dawned on Mila that they had yet to tell their friends that they were together.
"Oh, um..." Now that mila was going to say it she couldn't find the right words to explain it. "Last night we might have said how we felt and then kissed." The two girls squealed shocking the girl.
"Oh my god, Finally!" Veronica beamed. "I've been waiting for this since the day i met you two."
"Really?" Mila asked with a laugh.
"Uh, duh. Everyone has. You two are inseparable." Betty laughed. "Oh my god, Kevin's gonna lose it. He and I have been sitting for years watching you to undress each other with your eyes for years." Mila's eyes widened and she chocked on air.
"Oh my god, we do not." Mila defended, both girls gave her a knowing look and she huffed.
"Did you two have sex?" Veronica asked, leaning forward.
"Almost, but no." Mila replied. "But what's up with you, you look like you have no idea what to do." Mila said looking at Veronica, The raven haired girl leaned back in her chair and huffed.
"There are just somethings no one does better than Veronica Lodge." She smiled, "Makeovers, party planning, dance-offs, fangirling over my favorite relationships, dropping vintage bon mots as if they were bonbons. But, there are things i'm not good at, bedside vigils, comforting boyfriends..."
"Maybe, but is that you now? Or is that New York Veronica talking?"
"The New York Veronica would've dashed by now." She frowned, "But Riverdale Veronica doesn't want to let Archie down."
"And you won't." Betty stated. "You just have to be there for him, don't let him be by himself."
"He won't do good on his own, Only god knows what he'd do." Mila frowned. Veronica nodded and Mila scanned the room, seeing the two boys. Jughead pulled Archie by his sleeve and whispered something to him. Archie nodded as they gave each other a quick hug.
Jughead looked to Mila and nodded, telling the girl to follow him. Mila stood up, walking over to him.
