Presenting, Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe. For years on years, it had been the heart and soul of Riverdale. Now it was the latest victim to the dark cloud that formed over the town. And far away from the bright lights of Pop's sign, on Sweetwater Bridge, Archie Andrews had set up a meeting with Dilton Doiley. And that night for the first time in weeks, Archie was able to sleep before awaking to the living nightmare.

Mila And Jughead walked up to Pop's with a frown seeing the words 'Death Diner' written on the front. They walked up the steps and into the the diner itself to see Pop leaning over the counter, his head in his hands.
"Pop?" Mila said softly with a frown.
"Did you two see it? Did you see what they wrote on my Chock'lit Shoppe?" He asked Distraught. Mila frowned seeing Pop in that state, her and Jughead shared a look and then sighed.

Jughead had finished telling the group what the two had seen. "It's another win for the bad guys, He's not even sure how long he can keep those doors open, maybe not even a week."
"It's because of what happened to my dad." Archie sighed, running his hand through his hair. "People are terrified. And honestly i don't see myself going back there anytime soon." Mila rolled her eyes at the statement as her phone buzzed.
Topaz- Hey, M. We need you at school today, we all gotta talk.
She sighed at Toni's text and started to stand up. "Where are you going?" Jughead asked watching the girl stand up.
"I'll see you later, I gotta go and deal with something really quick." She said, kissing his cheek and then walking off.

Mila arrived at Southside high and sighed as she got to the Serpents table. "What? What's so important." She asked, sitting down.
"We heard about what happened to Fred, and AJ said that Jughead was questioning the Serpents. you do know that it couldn't be any of us right?" Toni asked.
"Yeah, i know. But Alice Cooper brought it up and i got him thinking."
"Sweet Pea, Fangs and Mikey don't like that he's poking around on the southside. We all know what Tall Boy did too and how he reacted. If you want him to survive here, he has to roll with it or he isn't gonna last." Toni explained with concern.
"Yeah i know." She said running her hands through her hair. "He just, he just doesn't understand. And i don't know how to make him get it, he just has to learn the hard way i guess." She sighed. Toni nodded and frowned for the girl, She knew all Mila wanted to do was protect Jughead, but on the others it was hard to protect others when you weren't even in control.

Mila walked into the Andrews household, "Your security detail is here." She called out, closing the door. Archie sat up from the couch and smiled.
"Hey, thanks for coming." He beamed, pulling the brunette into a hug. She hugged him back quickly, "Uh, you hungry i was just about to make a sandwich." He said walking towards the kitchen.
"Sure." She said with a small smile. "How's you dad?" She asked, sitting on top of the counter.
"He's good, actually. He was up and moving around this morning while i was trying to make him breakfast." Archie glanced over at the sink as did Mila and her eyes widened seeing all the burnt food on the pans.
"Keyword tried." Mila laughed. The two teens laughed until they heard the boards from the back porch creak. Mila perked up and slid off the counter, her hand went into her pocket and she pulled out her switch blade. She turned her head to notice that Archie had a bat in his hand.
The two got close to the door as it opened and Jughead walked through.
"Hey!" Jughead called out, jumping back, "Uh it's me your boyfriend and best friend." The two sighed and Mila put her blade back in her pocket and Archie rested the bat down.
"Jughead, are you insane?" Archie sighed, placing a hand on his heart.
"You two are the ones ready to attack me!" Jughead defended.
"What did the lawyer say?" Mila asked as they all moved away from the door and the bat and towards the island. Jughead sighed and ran a hand over his face, shaking his head.
"I've been walking around for awhile, trying to wrap my head around it." He said. "It's pretty bad." Jughead's eyes began to get teary and she frowned. "He's facing 20 years."
Mila's frown deepened and she reached out and interlocked her fingers with Jughead's.
"They lawyer say he should take a deal and if he doesn't it could be 40 years." He said shakily.
"That sucks." Mila stated. Jughead nodded and sighed.
"I'm scared, guys." Jughead mumbled.
"Yeah... me to." Archie whispered. The two looked up and quirked an eyebrow.
"About what?" Mila asked. Archie shrugged and shook his head.
