Mila and Jughead stood silently beside each other, their arms linked as Cheryl sang. Almost all of Riverdale was mourning Midge Klump.
Mila looked forward as Jughead rubbed his hand in a comforting manner. She leaned her head on his shoulder as the funeral went on.
The events of the night prior still fresh in Mila's head, She had been questioned by Sheriff Keller, just as almost everyone had.
'So you were Kevin's 'assistant' but you ran tech and backstage?" Keller asked.
"Yeah, i just did whatever Kevin told me to do. But i was usually with Jughead when i wasn't doing anything. You have Jughead's footage, you can even check." She said calmly. Sheriff Keller looked at the teen Serpent suspiciously and she sighed. "I hardly knew Midge, yeah it sucks what happened to her, but I'm on camera, multiple times during that night, nothing had gone wrong until the letters."
"Wait. Letters? What letters?"
"Didn't you ask Jug this?" Mila sighed when the Sherriff made no move to answer her she sighed again. "They were letters telling Kevin to recast Cheryl or else."
Mila frowned noticing Midge's mother sobbing as Cheryl sang, but it was sad, A few tears even escaped Mila's brown eyes. The song ended and Cheryl raised her hands, the Vixens also raising their pom-poms.
"I also feel I must say that... like the furies of ancient Greece, who ceaselessly purse blood atonement when a crime's been committed,"Everyone turned to look to Cheryl with a questionable look. The funeral had just taken a dark turn.
"The Vixens and I vow that we will not rest until those responsible for the murder of our sister... is rightly punished." Cheryl sent a glare towards the sheriff's way, making everyone look to each other.

The five friends were all walking with each other through the snow. They all stopped in their path seeing Mrs. Klump, who was sobbing being led by Cheryl.
"Mrs. Klump?" Keller called out.
"I just want you to know that the Sheriff's department is working around the clock--" Sheriff Keller was cut off by Mrs. Klump slapping him across the face. The group of teens was all shocked, their eyes wide and jaws dropped.
