In Riverdale, everyone wears a mask. Not just the Black Hood, but every so often the mask fades and the truth prevails for everyone to see. So we hurry to put it back on, like a kid on Halloween, but it's too late and people see the real us.

 Mila had just gotten off the phone with Veronica, the raven haired girl had told the brunette about what a Nick Sinclair had done to Cheryl. "You couldn't of done anything." Jughead told her. 

"I know, i know, it just sucks she had to go through that." Mila sighed, their hands swinging back and forth as they walked to the English room. "She should go to court, but she won't." 
The two opened to door, and Mr. Phillips sighed. 

"What's up Mr. Phillips?" Jughead asked as they walked in. 

"I just needed to talk to Jughead." Phillips nodded, Mila smiled and let go of Jughead's hand. She walked outside the classroom. 

"Hey, M." Someone called out. Mila looked up and noticed Sweet Pea standing there. 

"Hey, Pea. What's up?"  She smiled, looking up to the six foot serpent. 

"I needed to talk to you, About the Serpents." He sighed, he knew that this could cause a commotion and didn't want that. She nodded, signaling for him to keep going. "You're a great queen, okay? But you haven't been there." He explained. 
She quirked an eyebrow confused and tilted her head. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. 

"You've been so caught up with Jughead, and it's good that you're happy, but you haven't been there to lead us. Andrews coming on our side, sticking a gun in our face, you should of been there to help with that, the Bulldog/ Serpent fight, you should of been there an-"

"I get it, okay? I'm sorry, from now on, i'll be there. I'm gonna start taking my responsibility, i promise." She smiled. Sweet Pea nodded with a smile and she smiled bigger. "So, how you been? I feel like we don't talk anymore." 

"It's cause we don't unless we're arguing." Sweet Pea laughed, "But i've been good." He nodded. The two started walking down the hall towards the other classrooms. 

"Mila!" Someone yelled from down the hall, she turned to see Jughead and Archie down the hall next to the exit. Mila looked at them confused, the school doors burst open and Mayor McCoy walked in with the Sheriff, a couple of deputies and dogs. Sweet Pea and Mila looked to each other and started to run down the hall. 

"M, Come on!" Jughead called. Mila took another step forward and the a grunt was heard from behind her, She turned to see Sweet Pea being pinned up against the locker. 

"Pea!" She called out. 

"Go M!" He called back. Mila went to run but another officer slammed her against the lockers as well. 

"Angel!" Jughead cried, he went to go after her but Archie caught his arm. 

"Hey, you wanna help her, you can't do that from a cell. Come on."  Archie said pulling the raven-haired boy out of the school. Mila watched them go and she smiled slightly knowing Jughead wouldn't get caught. She felt the cold handcuffs around her wrists and she groaned and was pulled away outside where other serpents were being hauled into police cars, and she was one of them.

Mila, Toni, Sweet Pea and Fangs were all in a cell together. Mila was laid on the ground, her head in Toni's lap, Toni playing with the  girls hairs, Sweet Pea and Fangs across from them. Fangs was nervous constantly looking around the cell. 

"Don't worry. We'll be out in a couple hours, you and Toni will be the first to go, your guys records aren't as long as ours." Mila stated, looking up at the ceiling.

"Fangs Fogarty." One of the deputy called. Fangs stood up and looked at the officer, "Come with me, you're free to go." 

"Told you, dude." Sweet Pea said, looking, "See you on the flip side." Fangs nodded to the three and then walked out of the cell. Mila laid her head back once again and closed her eyes waiting to get out.
