Mila and the rest of the serpents sat in the auditorium, watching the school candidates. Jughead and Betty, Veronica and Archie, and Reggie and Josie.
"Okay, now just a quick reminder, that this school hall is a PTA sponsored event." Alice Cooper spoke into the microphone at the podium. A hand raised in the front and Alice smiled. "Oh, it looks like we have a question," Alice said, pointing to the person.

Sweet Pea and Fangs stood up, making Mila smirk. "Yeah, no offense to the, uh, current administration, but it doesn't feel like anyone's looking out for the students who are bussed in from the Southside. Is that gonna change?" Sweet Pea asked, looking to his fellow Southsiders

Jughead picked up his Mic, looking over to the Southside faction. "Absolutely, Sweet Pea, that's our priority." Jughead nodded. "And no one should feel marginalized or excluded here."
Mila pulled on the six-foot Serpent to sit him back down.

"Jughead and I will be representing all students, North and Southside alike," Betty added.

"Next question," Alice stated, cutting off her daughter. "Yes, Midge?"

"My question is for Archie and Veronica." The par looked up, towards Midge, awaiting the short-haired brunette's question. "Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the Mayoral election, won't that negatively affect your working relationship?"
Mila chuckled to herself in the audience, Sweet Pea smirking as Mila looked up.

"Archie and i adhere to the old maxim that 'politics are never discussed' at the dinner or cafeteria table," Veronica explained. Mila rolled her eyes, leaning back in the chair. The crowd started to laugh as well.

"Veronica and I are on the same page about everything, including her family's plans for a prison on the southside," Archie added. Mila called out a boo and others followed. Veronica looked to her boyfriend in shock.

"In the meantime, however, we're committed to improving the quality of life at Riverdale High, which means more extracurriculars-"

"Reggie and I agree. Except, add the fact that we can and will deliver results." Josie cut in.

"And we're chill, unlike these guys," Reggie added. The crowd started to laugh, but Mila was more laughing at Veronica and Archie's face.

In the hall, after the debate, the trio, Betty, Jughead and Mila were walking. "Shouldn't we be  hobnobbing?" Jughead asked as they walked down the hall.

"No, we have to go before my mom attacks us. She's a heat-seeking missile." Betty explained.

"Betty..." Mila said in a warning tone as Alice walked out. Betty gasped, talking Mila and Jughead's hands and leading them down another hall.

"You can't keep dodging her forever, bets," Mila said knowingly.

"Maybe not, but i can damn well try. Come on, let's go." Betty said, pulling them away again.

"Easy, Fp, hold on." Bec sighed, looking down at his sister and Betty. "Turn on channel 8, Alice called," Bec said. Mila reached for the remote, changing the channel.
