Mila, Jughead and Toni were sitting at a table in the Whyte Wrym, one of Jughead's arms slung around Mila's shoulders. "Why so sad? It's great news for your dad." Toni said to Jughead, who was brooding for an unknown reason. Jughead cracked a small smile and the two girls laughed, "I guess that means the snake charmer came through."
The two teens faces fell at the mention of Penny Peabody.

"What? She hasn't called you for more favors, again, has she?" Toni asked, Mila looked up to Jughead who was looking forward.

"The deal was a favor, one favor. I owe her nothing." Jughead stated.

"Well, let's hope your right." Mila sighed, looking over to Toni who had a skeptical look on her face. Mila's phone started to ring and it was Archie calling. "Hell-"

"I need you and Jughead at Riverdale, as soon as possible."

"So the real story was in the sheriff's notebook." Archie started, Veronica walking in.

"There was a third kid, Joseph Conway who survived the massacre." Veronica explained, Betty looked back to the couple who stood there silently.

"They hid his identity, changed his name, so he could live a normal life. According to Sheriff Howard's notes, he was adopted by another family in Riverdale and was enrolled in the local High school."

"We have a picture of the kid." Archie said, picking up a photo and handing it to them. "If we match that boy to one of the students in Riverdale..."

"The he'd be able to tell us how the murders and the hood are connected." Betty sighed.

"Or he is the Black hood." Mila stated, looking at the picture. "Just listen, say the kid is alive and saw it, he'd be scarred for life. And he could be blaming the town for what happened. They weren't able to save his family in time... something along those lines." Mila explained.

"And now he could be punishing us for it." Jughead nodded. Placing a hand on Mila's shoulder.

"So basically, we'd just have to go through all these yearbooks, page by page, to find a match." Veronica stated. "So not quite a needle in a haystack." Mila and Jughead looked to each other and shared a look with Betty. "What?"

"Uh, we just have to get ready for a party we're hosting." Betty stated, looking at the other two in the room.

"It's my dad's retirement party, so...." Jughead stated, Veronica and Archie nodded, sharing an 'oh'.

"You guys should come." Mila smiled.

"Yeah! No, i'm renting a karaoke machine." Betty beamed, wanting some of her Northside friends with her.

"If you want to you really don't have to." Jughead and Mila said at the same time Betty was telling them to come. "It's not a big deal." Jughead finished.

"You should come, you guys should come." Betty urged.

"If you want to." Jughead said awkwardly. Mila stood there quietly, slightly standing away from everyone.
