The next morning, Jughead and Mila were laying in bed. Mila's head on his chest, the sheets wrapped around them. A knock on the door pulled them out of their own little world.
"Yeah?" Mila called out, not moving from her spot.
"Hey, M. Betty and I are going into town, a little girls day. Wanna come?" Veronica asked from the other side of the door. Mila looked between Jughead and the door before sighing.
"Yeah, just uh, give me twenty minutes, and i'll be out."
"Okay." Veronica beamed. After a while nothing was heard and Jughead sighed.
"Or... you can stay in bed with me... all day long."
"Tempting, but, no." She smiled, getting up to get changed. She quickly walked into the bathroom changing. Jughead sighed, wanting his girlfriend to stay with him all day. She walked out of the bathroom, dressed in a pair of black jeans, a peach t-shirt and a black jacket.
"I'll see you later." She smiled, kissing Jughead briefly and then walking out of the room.

The three girls were in the small town shop, looking over the items in the store. "So mila... unless that was some aggressive writing and hand-holding last night-"
"Oh thank god i wasn't the only one who heard." Betty sighed. Mila's jaw dropped in false hurt, letting out a playful scoff. "When did that start?"
"Well... as ironic as it sounds, the night of your conformation. I, Mila James, have sinned." She laughed. The girls laughed as well shaking their heads.
"Who would've thought." Veronica laughed. The girls walked towards the front, Veronica picking up a candle and placing it on the counter. "Well at least someone was praising Jesus." She looked to the man behind the counter, a blonde boy with blue eyes smiled at the girls, "Hi, i'd like this... and this." She said picking up a jar of honey. "And , oh. The last time i was here you had the most scrumptious scones."
"Yeah, yeah my grandma makes them. But just during the summer. Just for the summer people." The man told them. Betty and Mila looked to each other getting an off vibe from the guy, but Veronica seemed oblivious to them.
"Oh, that's when normally come up." Veronica explained.
The guy nodded briefly, taking the money. "Yeah, thought i recognized you. You've got one of those places on Shadow Lake, right? But your usually with your folks."
